I kissed him again, my fingers raked through his soaked hair and tugged just enough to make him growl against my mouth. He pressed me back into the tile, water cascading between us, and pulled away only to rest his forehead on mine. “God, Hazel,” he breathed, eyes locked on mine, “you have no idea what you do to me, not just this body… your mind, the way you call me out on my shit, it wrecks me.” I swallowed hard, chest tight, “so why do you keep acting like it's nothing?” I whispered, trying to blink the running water out of my eyes, catching my breath as I stared into his eyes. His thumb traced my bottom lip, “because I’m scared of how much I need you.” I furrowed my brows, trying to think about what his words meant amid my drunk brain but it was drawn out of my mind the moment he dipped his head and kissed the corner of my mouth, then my jaw, then dragged his lips down the side of my neck, softly, and then sucking lightly until I arched into him with a shaky breath.
