Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Alpha's Rogue Bride: Kabanata 111 - Kabanata 120

CHAPTER 111~KIM~“Where is Alpha Fell?”I ignored all the pleasantries that were rendered by the staff and went straight to interrogating them as soon as I walked into the infirmary.“He’s not here.” Someone managed to answer. The rest of them were clearly terrified by my abrupt entrance and demeanor, but I couldn’t care any less.“Where is Elena then?”This time, I did not wait for them to respond to the question.I charged in Jerry’s room where she was supposed to be, but instead of Elena, I met Jerry, choking in his bed. Literally fighting for his life.“Jerry!” I rushed to his bed side.He was dying. I could see it.It was the very thing I was afraid of.The stage where all his organs were manifesting the trauma he had gone through and they were shutting down.Even though I had not practiced nursing enough, I knew enough to know that medically, there was nothing that could be done for him, so I didn’t scream.I stood there, watching him, tears streaming down my cheeks. He was hel

CHAPTER 113~RICHARD~“He still isn’t here, Elena,” I stormed into the room, complaining.“That’s weird. He has direct instructions.” She replied. Her reply made it sound like we were in sync, like we wanted the same thing, but I couldn’t help notice she had her legs folded on the bed as she painted her toenails in clear gel.“The entire week you’ve assured me he would come get us. Everyday, I stay by the window watching and there is no sign of him,” I took a few steps forward,“You don’t at all seem bothered that someone disregarded your direct instructions and has been playing with you for one whole week, which is why I have to ask, Elena, what direct instruction does the driver have?”She raised her head, took a glance at me and closed the nail polish, placing it gently on the bedside drawer.“He knows to come get us when he gets my signal.” She replied, staring right into my eyes as she said so.“And have you given the signal?”I obviously knew the answer to that by now, but just

CHAPTER 115~KIM~Richard walked in with Elena at the last minute. The sight of them walking in and demanding to know hit me in the face. It brought back memories—the reality that I was brought here to produce a baby for them.Neither visited in the two weeks I was here, unconscious and now they were here, as though they came to collect tax from a market woman.I took a look at the stick. The single red line staring at me.My heart went in two different directions.I handed the stick to Jerry, who took a brief look and handed it to Elena.“Well, I guess she’s not.” Elena returned the stick to me and walked out of the room.Richard was quiet. The hurt in his eyes was too evident, and seeing him in pain was a slight source of happiness to me, but it did not change the fact that my heart was broken, finding out that there was no baby. After the encounter with Nana, I was really excited about the baby.Jerry looked relieved that there wasn’t one and the emotions in the room were quite ove

CHAPTER 117~RICHARD~“Tresna?” I repeated. She smiled.“It means love,” she explained, “which is everything you’ve been to me.”A huge smile pulled my cheeks apart.“And everything I want to be to you moving forward.” She continued. “It is clear to me now that the only way we actually scale through all of this, or even any of it…is together.”I nodded in affirmation.“What other bonding glue is there, stronger than love?” Kim’s words sank into cracks in my heart I didn’t even know existed. “So, every time I call you that, I would be reminding myself that the only way we get through this is believing strongly in the love that we know has always been there.”I pulled her into an embrace, placed her head on my chest and gently stroked it.The moon goddess really was the all-knowing with all the wisdom in the world. She alone knew how to twine souls together and things feel perfect only with that one person.“Zahra and Tresna. I like it.” I whispered.Kim’s grip around my waist got a lit

CHAPTER 119~KIM~My eyes were beginning to hurt from staring at the door all day, waiting for Richard to come back, but all I got was Galina.Which I guess was good too, since I was dying of anxiety and being alone did not at all help the situation. Just that Galina in place of Richard was not as good.“Dinner,” She walked in with the tray in her hands.I had an extremely long day, just watching my door and waiting.“Still no sign of him?” I inquired.Galina shook her head.I exhaled deeply.“He’s still trying to catch up on the weeks he missed out on.” Galina set the table and took the couch opposite me.“You don’t have to try to make up stories for him, Galina.”“But I’m not.” She replied, rather persuasively. “The rogue wolves will not flip on their leader. Well, a good number of them did not make it out of the infirmary, but the few that did would not flip on their leader.” She shared. “Some of the rogues are killing themselves just so they don’t have to say anything.”I was shoc
