Ava's POV I crossed my arms beneath my chest, my eyes locked on him. “What the hell are you doing here?” I demanded, glaring at him.He raised a brow, a sly grin tugging at his lips. “What do you mean? I saw what you pulled earlier. Messing around with Lucas's girlfriend was reckless,” he teased, and I scoffed. “And so what? Don’t tell me you came here thinking I’d let you touch me the same way you did in the kitchen?” My voice cut him off sharply.He rubbed the back of his neck. “Come on, Ava, don’t be like that. I thought we were past all that.” His words drew a bitter laugh from me. “You must be insane if you think I’d allow it.
