Myra’s pov “Where am I?”I woke to the scent of almond and vanilla filling my nostrils. The radiator hummed quietly filling the room with warm air. I blinked my eyes, adjusting to the brightness coming through the window blinds. I looked around with a frown as I slowly tried to sit up. My head was killing me, and my body felt like it was hit by a truck. What the heck happened? Why am I here in a hospital? I could tell I was in one because of the heavily equipped machines in the room.. thankfully I’m not attached to any. Groaning, I try to slip out of the bed, and flashbacks from last night hit me like a sledge hammer. I remember going back to pick up my phone at the hockey arena, and then it got so cold in there and I couldn’t get out. I was sure how long I was in there for, but I began to lose my consciousness and I felt a familiar warmth close to me briefly, I couldn’t open my eyes to see who it was— I guess I passed out.
