All Chapters of My Boss Is A Werewolf : Chapter 41 - Chapter 50

Ryder West “This is bullshit,” I muttered under my breath, gripping the steering wheel so tight my knuckles turned white. The city streets blurred past as I drove away from the police station, my mind racing faster than the car. Every second that passed felt like another nail in Clara’s coffin. Those cowards in uniform were too scared of Victor’s money and connections to do anything real. I should have known better than to waste time there. I slammed my hand against the dashboard, frustration boiling over. “Where the hell are you, Clara? Just hold on, baby. I’m coming.” The road stretched out ahead, but my thoughts kept circling back to the same dead ends. I needed help. Real help. Someone who understood what I was, someone who wouldn’t flinch at the wolf inside me. Then it hit me like a lightning bolt. Uncle Elias. I hadn’t seen him in years..... not since the funeral after my family was killed. He was the last living relative who knew the truth about our bloodline, the on

Francis Williams “Sir, we have new information on Ryder West,” my assistant said as she stepped into the room, tablet in hand. Her voice was steady, but I could hear the slight hesitation in it. I turned from the window, setting my glass down on the side table. “Go on.” She cleared her throat and continued. “It appears he no longer has a pack. Our sources confirm the entire group has… vanished. Like they never existed. No meetings, no safe houses, no communication trails. It’s just him now, living among humans. He’s completely alone.” I raised an eyebrow, a slow smile spreading across my face. “Alone? How delightful. The mighty alpha reduced to a lone wolf playing human in his shiny tower. How the mighty have fallen.” Elena nodded and swiped across the tablet before handing it to me. “There’s more. The girl he’s involved with ... Clara Bennett ...she’s currently missing. Our men confirm she was taken from his apartment earlier today. We believe someone close to her is holding her

Clara Bennett“Victor, please,” I said, my voice hoarse from days of barely speaking. “Just tell me what you want from me. I’ll do it. Just stop this.”I was still chained to the bed, my wrists raw and bruised from constantly pulling against the metal. The new guard, Lena, had left me alone for a few hours, but the silence was almost worse than her slaps. My stomach ached from hunger, and my cheek still stung from the last time she had hit me.Victor stood in the doorway, watching me with that cold, calculating look he always had. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him, walking over to the bed slowly.“You’re finally starting to understand,” he said, sitting on the edge of the mattress. “Good. I want Ryder. I want him broken and delivered to my lab. You’re going to help me get him. Call him. Tell him you escaped and need him to come get you. Give him a location. I’ll handle the rest.”I shook my head, tears filling my eyes again. “I can’t. He’ll know something is wrong. He’s

Ryder West “Stay low and stay quiet,” I whispered to the small team behind me as we moved through the shadows outside the facility. My arm was still throbbing from the gunshot wound I had taken earlier, but I ignored the pain. Clara was in there. That was all that mattered. I had spent the last few hours tracking every lead I could find, calling in every favor, and now we were finally here. The building looked abandoned from the outside, but I knew better. Victor’s kind loved hiding their dirty work in plain sight. I signaled to my men and we slipped through a side entrance I had found on old blueprints. The wolf inside me was wide awake, senses sharp, ready to tear through anyone who stood between me and her. We moved silently down a long corridor, guns ready. My heart was pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears. Every second without her felt like torture. I kept seeing her face in my mind ... the way she had looked at me when she confessed, the fear in her eyes when she ran.

Clara Bennett“Ryder!” I screamed as I heard the sounds of fighting echoing down the hallway. My heart was pounding so hard it felt like it might burst out of my chest. I pulled against the chains again, the metal biting into my already raw wrists. “Let me go! Please!”Victor stood in the doorway, watching me with that cold, satisfied smile. “He’s here. Just like I planned. Now you have a choice to make, Clara. Help me take him down, or watch him die trying to save you.”Tears streamed down my face as I shook my head. “I can’t. I won’t betray him again. Not like this.”The sounds of the fight grew louder — gunshots, growls, the crash of bodies hitting walls. I could hear Ryder’s voice roaring my name, full of pain and rage. He was hurt. I knew he was hurt. And he was still coming for me.Victor stepped closer, crouching down so we were eye level. “You don’t have a choice. Help me, and I’ll let you both live. Refuse… and I’ll make sure he dies slowly in front of you.”I sobbed, my whol
