Astrea’s POVI woke up to someone murmuring beside me.“Go away” I muttered. My voice came out hoarse. There was chuckle right beside me. And my senses were alert. I was alarmed thinking who was in my bed. Without thinking much, I kick the person hard which had him landing on the floor with a thud.“What the fuck, Astrea” I snapped open my eyes and looked at a very angry Lycan on the floor. Someone was laughing. My eyes moved towards the said person with my heart still beating furiously. When Silas found me looking, he smothered his laugh.“I am sorry… that was funny” he wheezed clutching his stomach.“Silas” Lycan King scowled at his second in command. Silas controlled his emotions but I could see his lips twitching.“What the hell are you doing in my room?” I snapped when the Lycan king stood up and loomed over the bed where was now sitting. “Look around, it’s my bed” he smirked. My eyes widened wide like saucers.“How are you feeling?” He asked. I looked at him for few seconds unt

Killian’s POV“I want her out of this estate, Bro” Blair hissed in anger.“Bair, calm down” Axel her mate was trying to calm her down.“No, I cannot” Blair pushed his hand away and walked towards.“Go there right now and throw her out” she looked me straight in the eyes. Since the moment, we lost our parents I did everything Blair wanted.“Blair, I know what she did was wrong” I started.“Let’s give her second chance” my wolf was happy that for some reason I was reluctant to let Astrea go.“Not even a day and she already has you wrapped around her little finger” Blair looked disappointed.“You know it is nothing like that” I glared at her angrily.“Then prove it. You always made sure I was happy. Now that girl is threatening my peace” Blair muttered she pointed towards the door through which Astrea left.“Fine” with a heavy heart. I stepped out of the room and went to the next room. With my heavy heart like never before, I felt my wolf’s restlessness as he paced inside our head. Ignor

Astrea’s POV“I want out of this fake marriage or whatever you call this” I started.Once I did, I could not stop the words coming out from my mouth “If it is about the money you gave to my dad, I will pay you with all the funds I have”“I want the men from your pack to stay away from me, that includes you” I gauged his reaction. His fists tightened as he did not say anything. Not that I was expecting him to agree to my terms. I took a chance so that if he did agree, I will be that happiest girl in this pack and if he did not, I will definitely be saddened.Unfortunately, he walked out without sparing me another glance. I let out a sigh and slumped on the bed. The aftereffects of yesterday’s events still linger in my head. I shivered as I remembered those rough hands clawing at me, trying to hurt me and break me. I was glad that fire broke out right in time.I got up and decided to take a bath and that’s when I actually saw myself in the mirror. I was changed into my night dress. My l

Killian’s POVStanding near the corridor which gave a perfect view of the front steps, I watched as Kyle skated his way towards where Elsie and Astrea were standing.“He is at it again” Silas muttered from beside me. All my focus was on them so I did not bother replying. Elsie was quick to move away but Astrea was the one who collided with him.“His innocence is what makes him connect to people” I replied as it was time to step outside and look at my wife making sure Kyle does not cross the boundaries.“Don’t tell me you are jealous” Silas muttered from behind me. I scoffed“Whom do I need to be jealous about?”“Kyle?” I gave him a crooked smile.“I mean both of them are of the same age. I believe they have many things in common. Just look at the way Astrea is gazing at him” By now Astrea was standing sideways watching as Kyle and Elsie bickered with each other. She had a smile on her face. I made my presence known and went down. She was so lost at staring at him that she did not hear

Astrea’s POVMeeting with the pack members went easy. All of them were very cordial and were glad to have me as their Alpha. I don’t know how dad could let his second wife treat all the pack members so rudely. She was leading a dictatorship rule where her decision was final and no one could question her. I changed all the rules and made sure pack’s voice was heard. I also set a committee where everyone who has problems or issues will present it to the committee in hand written letter. Then the regular matters will be solved by the head of the committee where as I will solve the issue which needs my absolute attention and decision making. Once everything was sorted, I walked out of the pack house and searched for Kyle.“Trent” I called out to my second in command.“Yes Alpha” he looked at me.“Where is the guy who had come with me?” I asked as I looked around. His car was parked right in front of the pack house when he left me to roam around the pack.“Alpha, he left half an hour befo
