A little after seven, the doorbell rang. Sofia and I looked at each other before she smiled. “That should be him.” I got up from the couch, trying not to look as nervous as I felt. One of the staff members opened the door, and Diggory stepped inside. He dressed casually, holding his phone in one hand. The moment he saw me, he smiled. “Hey, Juliana.” “Hi, Diggory.” He walked further inside and greeted Sofia before looking toward the stairs. “Where’s Edris?” “In his study,” I replied. “He’s been there for most of the afternoon.”Diggory nodded and headed toward the study with me. Before we reached the door, Edris came out of his study just as Diggory and I reached the hallway. His face brightened when he saw his friend. “Diggory?
