BIANCAHis face turned to the other side, I stood there watching him freeze for a second scared for what he might do next. That wasn't intentional, just an action of reflex like mum had taught me. I thought my actions would send him far away from me, but he stayed. A slow and wicked grin tugged by the side of his lips. Turning back to me, his blue eyes glowed differently. "You're quite bold.." The words rolled on his tongue. He sounded calm but behind his eyes lay another emotion I couldn't figure out. "If you try that one more time, then I will..." I raised my hand to demonstrate another slap just In case he tried it for a second time but amazement, he grabbed my hand and pinned it against the wall above my head with his own hand. My legs vibrated with an unknown current, I felt a shift down there when his eyes locked down on mine. I tried to pull my hand off only to realize how much of a pathetic weakling I am compared to him. "If you try that one more time, I will kiss you.."

BIANCA The game went on for a few minutes and the cheering from greenstone high had gone down to almost a whisper because we were at zero shot while the other school had managed to score ten shots. I could see the tension lingering on the court, Kyle wasn't focused at all and neither was Andrew.Of course, he only had the looks and nothing more. A part of the crowd cheered on at the eleventh shot made by the other team. A low hiss left my lips, we've been doing well in the basketball games before his arrival and now that he joined, it's all different. "Darn it!" I heard Ashley cuss next to me, a look of frustration worn over her face. Not only her, but the whole of Greenstone high had a smug look on their faces. The whistle blew indicating the second quarter was over and all players left the court to go get ready for the next quarter. I've always been obsessed with winning because that's what mum taught me. You either win or you'd be mocked forever. I left for the bench where the

BIANCA Beep! Beep! I groaned deep in my sleep when the alarm went off, adjusting on the bed, I stretched a hand trying to grasp the little noise maker since I was still asleep. My finger brushed on the alarm clock before I heard a thud on the ground. A frustrated groan left my lips which made me sit up immediately, the alarm was still ringing and now it was somewhere under my bed. Arghh. The weekend, that's my favorite part of the week, no trouble. Just me, my laptop and Netflix. I've always been lazy during the weekend and also free because I do most of my assignments on Friday and I get to enjoy all of my weekend doing nothing but chilling and snacking on chips all day. My hair fell over on my face and I quickly brushed it back before stepping out of bed. The alarm clock wasn't in sight which means it was under the bed. But the boogie monster lives there! Just kidding, I stopped being afraid of the bed monster when I was fifteen. I dropped to my knees and bent through the op

BIANCA“Oh my goodness! You and Andrew? That's cute! I swear you have to go!” I know, my insides were tingling too but mum will skin me alive if she knows about this, i just have to go without her finding out about it. I've got to start living on my own terms. All I should be wary of is teenage pregnancy. “I know, but I don't know what to wear, I also have no idea of the place we are going to hang out..” “Hmm..let me take a look at your outfits..”I walked to my wardrobe and switched the video call to the back camera. The outfits in the wardrobe were mostly for cozying up on the couch. There's still a long way for me to go if I truly want to start living like a normal teenager. “When was the last time you went to the mall to get new clothes? Everything in there is screaming two summers ago..”Ashley's sarcastic remark was the last thing I wanted to hear right now. I casually shuffled through the hangers and picked out a light pink gown. “I think I'll go with this..” "Bianca..”

BIANCAThere was a loud ringing noise that spawned for a minute in my ears. My eyes became blurry in an instant when I met my mum's gaze, she shook her head slowly almost at the verge of tears. I looked over to the man who just claimed that he was my father, now that I knew who he was, I could see the slight similarities we had in features. My heart squeezed in pain, breathing became so painful for me. He looked healthy, and very much happy with his life. Where had he been all these while and why has he only returned now? All those questions spiralled in my head for some time.“Bianca I—I pushed my chair backwards and stood up before half running out of the dining table. I could hear my mum and should I call him dad? They were both calling out to me but I was too broken to stop. Where on earth had he been when I was growing up? Why didn't he stay and watch me grow? We could have bonded like most father and daughter and I'd have been his perfect little princess but he just left.
