Playing with her feelings

Elena's POVKessler has been so mad at me for running away for my dear life. All I could do now was find a way to please him and make him receive the rest of his companies from the hands of Alpha Lucian.I was scrolling through social media this afternoon when I got a location about Amelia's whereabouts from a stranger.I tried calling the person so that I could get more information, but he or she wasn't picking up.In order to draw Amelia out faster, I decided to post on my wall that she had been found. With that, she will be left with no other option than to come home.I clicked on my map to check where the location was, I realized it was inside Paxon's pack and even closer to my father's pack house.Going there all alone would bring up unnecessary questions from my father, so I decided to send some of my trusted guards."Elena, what is happening? What do you mean you haven't found Amelia?" Kessler asked, walking into my room unexpectedly."Ohh, Kessler dear, you don't need to worry

All a dream

Elena's POVSweat ran all over me as I paced around my room trying to contact the lady who had earlier given me Amelia's address. I tried calling her for the fifth time when a message suddenly popped up on my phone.I checked my phone and realized it was from the mysterious lady. I told her everything, but she still argued with me that she saw Amelia at the location she sent to me.I asked if she could at least bring out Amelia for me and that I would pay her a huge amount of money, but she greatly declined."I'm doomed," I muttered.Kessler will soon be back and start asking if Amelia is back; my father will soon call me back in a few hours, enquiring about Amelia if I fail to take Amelia to him or at least get both of them on a call. What do I do now? I thought.I lay down on my bed to clear up some thoughts and think of what step to take next when I dozed off all of a sudden.***"Luna!!!" I heard someone call out to my name from the hallway."Come in," I said before the person cou

Don't Underestimate

Elena's POVI couldn't find the right words to say, I just stared at Kessler in shock."Is she not back yet? I already prepared her room before coming into my room to take a nap?" I asked."I put everything to you before I left so I don't know if she's back yet or not," Kessler said, yelling angrily."Maybe she's inside her room," I said.Kessler was about to reply to me when a call came in. He rolled his eyes angrily at me before walking out.I made an unreliable promise that I couldn't fulfill. I just wish Irving could rush to my door and tell me that Amelia is back just like it happened in my dream.I was thinking of what to do when my phone started ringing. I checked the caller ID and realized it was from my father, Alpha Barker.I switched it off to get my senses straight and talk to Kessler before I found the right words to tell my father.I moved downstairs to check on the atmosphere to see if it was calm or waving around, just like the ocean."Where is Alpha Kessler?" I asked

A Strange Knock

Amelia's POVIt was really fun playing with Elena's feelings for a little time. I was just smiling as I stared at her messages and watched her calls come in.It's been a few days since Marrock last visited or called to check up on me. I wish I could step out of this forest.I need to reach him and enquire what's wrong. I walked into my room to pick up my phone when something caught my attention.I opened my phone and saw Elena's timeline with the caption, "She's dead." I messaged her privately inquiring who is dead, and she said the lady I sent her address earlier is dead, which is supposed to be me.I furthermore asked her how she knew, and she told me that she found the corpse at the address I sent to her.Immediately after she said that my hands began shaking. I didn't even realize when my phone fell on the floor and shattered into pieces."Wow, is this how far Elena can go to get me out of Kessler's life?" I asked myself.Talking about Kessler, I don't love him anymore, so I also

Facing The Spiritual Beings

Lycan King Marrock's POVAnytime I have a conversation with Amelia, I do feel something kind of strange, like butterflies in my belly and goosebumps all over my body. That's why I lied and cut ties with her for a few days.I just wanted to be alone so I could be able to think straight about my feelings and emotions that's why I refused to call her, but seeing her call today, I guess she's tired of staying indoors alone.Throughout my one-week stay outside the world, I used that opportunity to check up on what Elena and Kessler were planning.I guess Kessler had given up his search for Amelia after the Alpha of the Poldark pack burned down his company."When are you going to see Amelia?" Ellan asked, after a few minutes of standing behind me."Maybe in the next three days," I replied."But you have nothing to do at the moment or any business needs your attention throughout this week," Ellan said, reading out Marrock's schedule for the week."You don't understand, Ellan. Pack the kinds

Facing The Spiritual Beings II

Amelia's POVWhen the knocks were taking days, I realized that they wouldn't be from Marrock.I rushed inside and picked up my phone to call him so I would know what to do because I'm damn scared to my bones. I called him and heard his phone ringing outside. He picked up the call and instructed me to stay inside. I kept pacing around the living room as I felt strong powers battling with each other outside.A few minutes later, the door creaked open, and Marrock entered with a cut on his left arm. I rushed into his store room and brought out his first aid.I placed it on the center table and rushed to hold his hand."Sorry, who were those?" I asked as I pulled out something and started adding them to the cut."Spiritual beings in this forest and some wolves that went rogue," Marrock replied."Wow!" I exclaimed and he continued."If you had opened the door, am not sure you will live to see the light of tomorrow," he said."Damn it! I was about to open the door when I heard three people

The guy in black suit

Elena's POV"What? A spiritual wolf?" I asked my mom, confusedly."Yes," my mom whispered."You may now come in ma'am," a young lady said.We were about to take our second step into the house when a loud voice suddenly told us to stop. We stared at the young, and she nodded her head for them to stop.We stood where we were and waited for us to be called in again. I was busy looking around to see what was going on when my eyes suddenly caught a man in a black suit walking outside through the backdoor.I tried looking closely to see who it was, but it was kind of dark because he was covering half of his eyes."Who is that?" I tried asking the young lady beside us, but the deadly stare she gave made me mind my business.A few minutes later, the young lady got called in by the spiritual woman. When I got tired of standing, I resorted to sitting on the floor while we waited for us to be attended to.A few minutes later, the young lady came out again, but this time around she was looking sc

Meeting with the Shareholders

Kessler's POVI had just come back from meeting with a few shareholders who had wanted to leave the remaining companies just because the companies are still with Alpha Lucian, and he has been threatening the hell out of them, including their family.I tried my best to convince them before leaving the meeting, but everything fell on deaf ears."What are we going to do now? Everything is falling apart already," Seth asked; immediately, he walked into the living room."Hmm!" I exclaimed, heaving out a heavy sigh of pain."Check on Elena if she has found Amelia first; then we can know what's next," I said, relaxing on the couch."Okay," Seth replied, nodding his head as he rushed upstairs toward Elena's room."I just hope she has found Amelia so that all these problems and trials can end," I muttered while patiently waiting for Seth to come back downstairs.A few minutes later, I heard some steps, and I turned to look, only to see Seth walking downstairs and looking around."What is he lo

Another Threat I

Kessler's POV"Why did you leave home?" I asked, making my way into her hotel room."Kessler, please, I'm still running around looking for Amelia, and I promise to get her anytime soon," Elena said, clasping both her hands together, pleading."Tell me the truth Elena, is Amelia dead or not?" I asked.Elena stared at me for a while before turning to stare at her friend who was standing behind me.They nodded at themselves before Elena finally turned towards me."Kessler, I'm sorry. I didn't know that pushing her outside would lead to her death. I'm really sorry," Elena said. She dropped the bomb and expects me to feel happy about it, but anyway, it's not as if she's needed again, though, since the Alpha of the Poldark pack might demand something else in the release of my three remaining companies."Hmm!" I heaved out a heavy sigh as I stared at her teary face.I tried walking up to her, but she kept shifting backward till she couldn't move again."Even if Amelia is dead, that shouldn't

Another Threat II

Kessler's POV"I pray it shouldn't be from Alpha Barker because how do I explain myself to him when I'm just preparing my speech," I muttered, collecting the letter from the security."From who?" I asked, staring at the letter."The security who brought in the letter looked like someone from the Poldark pack," the security replied."What?" I asked, hurriedly sprang up from my seat.I stared at the security and quickly dismissed him before walking into my office to read the letter.I know that it's another threat of him trying to burn down my company, but I just don't know what his demand is this time around.Immediately I got to my office, I hurriedly tore the envelope and opened the letter when Seth walked in."The car is ready, Kessler," Seth said."What is that?" Seth asked, staring at the letter I was holding."I'm sure it's another threat from Alpha Lucian," I said."What?" Seth exclaimed as he moved closer and snatched the letter away from me."Let me read this out to you becaus
