Rolf~Standing up and walking to the side table, I reached for the bottle of whiskey where I had kept it. Poured a measure, drank it in two swallows, and set the glass down. The burn didn't clear the thought of her from my head. I stripped, left the clothes on the chair, and stepped into the bathroom. I needed to cool down my system. Water ran over my shoulders and down my chest. I braced both hands against the wall and let it pour, trying to wash the entire day off my skin, yet the memory of what she had shown me stayed behind my closed eyes.Water continued to run over my shoulders when the scent suddenly reached me.It was faint at first, almost lost under the steam, but unmistakable.
