Samantha was anxious, and her body had not recovered as she left her ward. Just as she reached the middle of a long ramp, her strength ran out. She let go and the wheelchair rolled backward, and she screamed in fear. Just when she had decided to fight for herself with everything she had, fate seemed to mock her again. As the wheelchair rolled backward out of control, Samantha closed her eyes in fear. However, the fall she expected did not happen. When she opened her eyes, two bodyguards stood on either side of her wheelchair, their hands holding it firmly in place. Samantha's heart stirred. These people gave her a familiar sense of safety.
