Isabella's P.O.V.I think a lot of people highly underestimate the strength and power behind fight or flight and our responses to it and they don't realise just how strong it is until they're deep in the thick of it, not to mention, they're also stumped by how confusing and conflicting these feelings can be as well.After I had left the party last night and I'd arrived back home at the DiMarco estate, I immediately headed up to my bedroom and tried to get some sleep but unfortunately, sleep wouldn't come to me, so I ended up laying awake in bed until the wee hours of the morning just thinking about everything that had happened last night.I thought about the conversation that I'd overheard between my brothers and Santiago, as well as how I felt about it and what I wanted to do about the situation but I didn't have an answer for that just yet.Even this morning when I was getting ready for school, I still didn't know what I was going to do or what I should do about this because I felt
