ZANE. I got a report of the weather in Bel-Air last night. It rained cats and dogs, almost like the city was weeping for my absence. My first concern was Elysia, how was she able to sleep with all the rain. I'm sure she must've sorted it out with her pillows and all but I'm very sure it didn't feel the same. Same applied to me, as usual, I couldn't sleep. I could only catch two to three hours before Blake's call woke me up. I stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, staring out at the city of Las Vegas while the line rang. The street was busy, cars moving to and fro, they were all tiny from the height I stood. She finally took the call. "Good morning, sir." She greeted me, her voice made me look away from the city on the phone. It was as soft as always, a little nervous by the way.
