DANTE'S POV As I sat by the hospital bed, I could not help but stare at what used to be a daring face now filled with innocence. It had been months since she was shot, months since everything happened, and months since she fell into a coma. The doctor had told me she was between life and death with the highest probability being death. When I heard the news, I felt something breaking inside me.
