Okay,... Cops... Cops, right? He could deal with it. Yeah, he could. He really could. Except...Matthias' chest fell when he recalled the mess outside and all around his backyard. They had found Matthias' guards knocked out and tied up in the basement. It turned out it was done by Dante's men. Some of his guards were dead, shot by the assassins. Some of Dante's men were dead too. Total body count, twenty-one.How was he supposed to get rid of twenty-one dead bodies while making his mansion look like it wasn't a crime scene?Hamilton and Sydney had managed to move the bodies out of the living room, rolling them up in carpets. Matthias didn't have enough human-sized carpets, so some bodies were still here.Matthias began to pace the room. He owned a large property with no neighbours, which was a blessing. Hamilton had fetched his laptop and pulled up the feed for the cameras—the ones that weren't destroyed. He got a view of the main road leading to his mansion. The police cars had arriv

Matthias watched Dante, who pulled a long face. Last night, a team of people had arrived and cleared everything up. They were efficient. In less than an hour, the bodies were cleared up and the house smelt like bleach.Sydney had to spray perfume to hide the stench of bleach. Then Hamilton had to deal with the maids and servants who had hidden in their rooms, too scared to come out. Luckily, they weren't hurt. Though Matthias had to make up a lie about a robbery and how it was dealt with.Lying so much made his jaws hurt. He looked at Dante again. Sober Dante was different from drunk Dante.Sober Dante wore a strict, stern face that said don't fuck with me or I'll take your life. While drunk Dante had been... Well... Kinda cute. The memories of last night resurfaced yet again in Matthias' brain. Dante had complained that the couch and all the other rooms were too small, uncomfortable, and torturous for him. So Matthias had to let the whiny tattooed man into his room, allowing him to s

Dante couldn't pull the trigger. The two people were fighting too close to each other. What if he accidentally hit the wrong target? He didn't dare to, so he rushed forward and grabbed the assassin's wrist before it could make contact with Matthias' face.Dante caught the blade before it plunged into Matthias' face. It sliced his hand, causing blood to leak down the steel. With his left hand, Dante pulled Amanda free and stabbed the assassin in the neck. He stabbed the man again and again until the assassin loosened his hold on the weapon. Blood gurgled from his mouth, splashing over Matthias' face."Motherfucker son of a bitch," Dante cursed, kicking the dead assassin off Matthias. He turned his attention back to Matthias, who was looking at him. His greenish-gray eyes flickered between Dante's eyes. The color slowly returned to his face when Dante patted his cheek."Hey, you okay?" Dante glanced him up and down. That's when he noticed the bullet hole in his thigh.Matthias groaned s

Footsteps disrupted the heated argument, followed by a smooth voice tinged with an accent."What do we have here? A man who's pretending to care for his cousin but actually wants to take over the company? Aren't you too useless for that?" Dante strode in.He was dressed in a new suit, and his hair was slightly disheveled, as if he had been running his fingers through it.Nevertheless, Dante knew he still looked stunning and striking. He looked at Micheal with interest. Micheal's face twisted with rage."Where did this useless gigolo come from?""Gigolo?" Laughter ripped from Dante's throat. He had been called a monster, killer, psycho, murderer, playboy, fuckhead, and all kinds of profanities. But gigolo? No one had called him that. And as insulting as it was supposed to be, Dante found it funny and refreshing.Hey, at least they were complimenting him. It wasn't an everyday thing that people truly complimented how handsome he looked."My, thank you. I know I'm handsome, but you don't

"Sir, I got the results. There is indeed a Dante De Santis in Italy. Would you like to take a look?"Matthias grunted, so Hamilton stepped forward and showed him the computer. Images of Dante were all over the screen. There Dante stood, at award ceremonies and high-end social parties."I'll take over from here," Matthias said, taking the laptop from him.Hamilton gave him a questioning look but turned and left. Once alone in the ward, Matthias looked through the photos. Dante was beaming, dressed in a fine suit as he stood at an award ceremony. It seemed as if it was for an Italian wine company. Dante owned that legal company? Matthias had thought he only did illegal shit.Scrolling through the web, he couldn't find much about Dante until he came across a link to his Instagram. Tapping on it, he was brought to an account with five million followers. In every photo of Dante, he looked like perfection, gorgeous as sin. He was the true definition of a devil in a suit. If Matthias hadn't
