All Chapters of His Forbidden Scarlett : Chapter 51 - Chapter 60

Chapter 51Scarlett’s POVAlarm lights began to pulse quietly in red hues down the corridors. I heard the muffled, terrified shrieks of the staff downstairs. Christian didn't hesitate. He grabbed my wrist, his grip like a steel shackle, and pulled me behind him as he flew down the stone steps toward the west wing. Enzo was right at our heels, pulling a heavy handgun from his holster. Seconds a later, a tall, good looking man appeared too, who Christian identified as Nino. He barely acknowledged me as he came closer."Nino, get Clementina and secure the main entrances," Christian ordered, his voice echoing off the cold damp walls as we got to the lower basement corridor. "Nobody leaves this house and nobody gets in.""What about you?" Nino asked, pausing at the iron double doors leading to the cells."I'm going to put Killian back in his fucking place," Christian growled."Christian, wait," I said, trying to pull back against his grip to get him to look at me. "If he broke out of rein

Chapter 53Scarlet's POV "They won't touch her," Christian said quietly, his fingers clenching into a tight fist. "Is the armored SUV in the bay ready?""It’s idling," Nino replied, his jaw tight. "Target lock is active on the eastern exit route. But Chris…” he stopped himself and cleared his throat when Christian raised his left brow. “Alpha, you need me on the front line. Enzo can't hold the courtyard alone even with the other guards. Let two of the lower-ranking soldiers take her there.""No," Christian barked, the sound echoing in the narrow hall. I stumbled a few steps back. "You’ll take her yourself, Nino. Drive her straight to the safe house in the hills. You'll lock down the compound, activate the perimeter grid, and do not leave her side until I personally call you. Is that clear?"Nino’s jaw twitched. I could see the bitter frustration in his eyes, but he bowed his head slightly. "Understood, Alpha.""Wait—no!" I grabbed Christian’s torn shirt, twisting the ruined fabric in

Chapter 55Scarlett's POV Perfect. He just had to catch me.“Chloe, I have to go," I whispered hastily into the receiver and cut the call before she could reply, hiding the handset behind my back. Nino walked into the room with long strides. He reached out and snatched the phone out of my hands, tossing it onto the bed behind him."Are you completely out of your mind?!" Nino barked, his usual stoic mask fraying. He looked confused and angry simultaneously. "I specifically told the staff no phones! Do you have any idea how easy it is to trace an unencrypted cellular signal to this place?!""I was calling my best friend!" I yelled, standing up from the bed to face him, my temper finally snapping. He was tall. So imposingly tall that he blocked out most of the light entering the room through the windows. But hell no, I wasn't going to let him bully me. "And I was trying to reach Christian! He isn't picking up his phone, Nino! He could be dying right now!""And calling a civilian is goi

Chapter 57Scarlett’s POVI quickly slipped back through the hidden wall panel, navigated the dark passage again, and pulled the mirror shut behind me just seconds before I heard footsteps down the hallway outside the bedroom.I sat on the edge of the bed, crossing my legs, resting my hands in my lap, and forcing my breathing into an even rhythm. The bedroom door clicked open.Nino came in, looking exhausted, his hair messy and his shirt stained with dark grease. And behind him stood the man I had spent the last six hours praying wouldn't die.Christian.He looked like he had walked straight out of the depths of hell.My hand flew to my mouth. His clothes were torn to shreds, covered in dried dark blood and mud. A bandage was wrapped tightly around his waist, seeped in red, and fresh claw marks scored the sharp line of his jaw. His grey eyes were sunken, dark circles beneath them, but the moment he stepped into the room and his eyes locked onto mine, a ragged exhale escaped his chest.

Chapter 59 Scarlett’s POV Christian stayed on his knees, his forehead resting against my stomach, his hands holding my thighs like he was terrified the moment he let go, I’d turn to dust. My chest throbbed with pity. I hated the secrets he kept. I hated the walls he built around me. But seeing him like this, wrecked by the fear of hurting me, shattered the anger I’d been holding onto all night.I threaded my fingers through his dark, messy hair. Christian let out a shuddering breath against my skin at the touch. He didn't move, just let me gently stroke his scalp, grounding him as the last embers of his wolf’s wild fury receded. "Come on," I whispered softly, my voice cutting through the quiet room. "Get up." He shifted slowly, his eyes meeting mine as he rose to his feet. He towered over me again, broad and imposing, but his gaze softened. Without a word, he lifted me effortlessly, sliding his arms under my thighs and pulling me up against his broad chest. I instinctively wr
