Daniel had spent the night at Jack's place. They had little talk about the work. Daniel felt happy when Em supported him to launch Jane. It was better to start her career with those she was comfortable most. Daniel had got so many proposals from different companies to join them, better offer, better salaries. But he politely refused. He didn’t want any raise in his salary than he was getting from here. And it was all savings, because he would get lunch and dinner with Jack and Evan. Jack and Daniel came to the office together. Since Jack's car was broke and parked at the basement of his company. Daniel was dressed in Jack's turtle neck and jeans trying to hide the evidence but his blushed cheeks were clearly screaming the story of their night.Daniel woke up and unexpectedly he wasn’t in pain. He faintly recalled when Jack gave him warm milk and medicine to put him to sleep. Even if he had taken Daniel more than twice, he made sure to make him comfortable. He thought about how he treated Jack in the past and then Jack took 15 minutes to calm him down as he was crying nonstop asking for apologies. Nothing could change the past and the guilt was killing him. He never took care of Jack. He never bothered to take him to bath or even clean. But Jack. He made sure to give him medicine.
