Chapter 21 Arthur’s POV It’s Halloween today. I know humans fancy this day, especially the children. They dress in different costumes, and go round the neighborhood, collecting candy. They will say, ‘trick or treat’, and get candy. “Humans play too much.” Oliver will say everytime he sees the children doing that. Werewolf young ones don’t have the time to be parading their selves, when there’s a battle to be fought. They need to learn skills of survival, and how to fight for defense. Grown ups wouldn’t always be around to protect them. Oliver tries his best to discourage me from going for the Halloween party. He states thousand of reason not to go. “You will just humiliate yourself in a ridiculous costume.” He tells me. “You don’t have to come, you know.” I chuckle, standing in the mirror, adjusting my tie. I’ve decided to dress as a mafia boss. It’s a costume. I can’t be seen dressing as a werewolf or vampire, or anything else. That will be insulting.

Chapter 24 Arthur’s POV “What do you mean she’s your mate? She’s human.” Kylian exclaims. I don’t reply him. I just sit and look at him. “I know it’s had to explain and understand, and I will not go out of my way to explain. Justin is my mate.” “How can you be so sure? She’s human for fuck sake.” He snarls. Chapter 26 Arthur’s POV “There’s no way we can get to them. We’ve even tried releasing one of the captured vampire, for us to follow secretly, but it’s always a dead end.” Oliver tells me. I sigh in defeat. “Then we double our security. Intensify the training on everyone. We need all the hands we can get.” Kylian has to go back to his pack. He needs to prepare his pack members too. With the random attacks, we have no way of telling which territory will be attacked next. We all have to stay on guard, and be alert. We have to be prepared for whatever is to come. Chapter 28 Arthur’s POV I didn’t realize that I’m so stressed out, till I sat through the first four classes of the day. The bell goes off for lunch.
