Louis’s POV I was sitting in my mom’s presence when one of the familiar guards walked in, his head bowed. "I’m sorry for interrupting, Luna, potential Alpha," he said respectfully before lifting his head enough to meet my gaze. "It’s about to start, so I came to inform you like you asked," he muttered lowly. I nodded, a small smile spreading on my face. I pushed my chair back and stood up, giving my mom an apologetic look. "Let’s finish this discussion tomorrow, Mom," I said lowly as I turned away from her. She shook her head slightly but nodded regardless, and with that, I was out of the pack house. The entire pack was shrouded in darkness, and I let out a low laugh at how perfect everything was aligning.
