AsherRunning as fast as I can, I endlessly enjoy the feeling of the wind rushing against my face. I hadn't realized how much I enjoyed running freely in my wolf form until I lost the opportunity to do so.After running aimlessly for several minutes, I finally reached a familiar road that leads to the city of Los Angeles, observing its tall buildings and the beach in the distance. My instinct tells me to go around the city to the other side, where one of the Frostfang pack settlements is located. Aiden must be waiting for me.However, I don't move, watching the sunset from the trees, as if it were the first time I had seen the sun. What would I gain if I returned to my pack?I know I am the laughingstock of all the packs on this continent. After what happened with Adrian, everyone considers me a bastard who hates omegas and deserves nothing. Without a reputation, I have nothing. I can't offer my pack anything as their alpha. However, here...I can't help but turn my head toward the ot

LucasI am filled with panic, staring at a pair of fierce and bright golden eyes in front of my face, looking at me in a terrifying way."Speak now! Tell me who sent you!" the terrifying alpha demands again."N... Nobody, nobody sent me..." I whisper, filled with panic. "I don't have a pack..."Ah... How the hell did I end up involved in this shit?Life has never been kind to me. I am a werewolf, or at least part werewolf, since when I transform, I can barely maintain that form for a couple of minutes. My mother was a pure wolf who became pregnant by a human. Because of her sin, she was expelled from her pack, and we ended up in this city, where there is a large group of werewolves who don't belong anywhere..."Wolves have a great sense of belonging. We need a pack to survive. Lone wolves die in the winter," my mother used to say. "Don't forget it, Lucas. If you ever have the opportunity in the future, join a pack before the darkness consumes you."I have lived this way my entire life

LucasI heard a strange rumor the other day. Everyone was talking about a mysterious werewolf with golden fur...After that horrible alpha let me go, I ran back home, returning to Downtown, the place where I live. Still trembling and covered in the pheromones of that terrifying alpha, I enter an almost ruined building that looks abandoned, but is actually inhabited by werewolves, those who are like me and didn't have the luck to be born into a pack, or those who left their packs for some reason. We all live on the streets in a place like this, where those who don't have a real home go.Crying my heart out, I went to one of the rooms on the upper floors, where I lay down on a mattress on the floor and sobbed for several minutes, until my neighbor, a female werewolf who lived on the floor below, came to invite me to dinner. It is common for us to take care of each other. The other werewolves and the packs turned their backs on us, so there is a sense of companionship in this building, o

LucasI look in surprise at the large and luxurious hotel room in front of me, since I had never been in a place as beautiful as this."It's best that you get some rest. Tomorrow we'll continue the search. Don't worry about the hotel fee; allowing you to stay with us is the least I can do to thank you for your help," Aiden says, the one who brought me to this beautiful room."Are you really going to let me stay here for free? Thank you so much!" I reply excitedly.I realized that the alphas aren't as bad as they seem. Jeb and Aiden are wonderful men who take care of me and always have a smile for me. I love being around them. But if we're talking about Shawn... I don't know. I feel uncomfortable around him, maybe because he is always looking at me, and it feels as if he were devouring me with his eyes. I don't like being too close to him. After Aiden leaves, I happily lie down on the large bed in the hotel room, feeling lucky tonight, because I don't always have the luxury of sleeping
