Semua Bab LET'S GET A DIVORCE: The Billionaire's Wife Is Unlovable: Bab 1 - Bab 9

_____...Two years of a wretched secret marriage that no one but close family knew about. Two years of living like strangers. Alexander Adam Thorne had a thorn stuck to him. No, it was not his name. It was a woman who had latched herself to his name - Inaya Thorne. The spoiled and rotten heiress of the McBell family. The McBells sounded like some modern American aristocracy. And they were. They had all the money in the world. They had enough money to BUY the whole damn world. And maybe the Moon and Mars, with what money they would have left. But Daddy’s rotten princess did not want money. No, she did not. She wanted Alexander Adam Thorne. Tech tycoon and the most eligible bachelor in the whole of North America. And had him she did.Parker McBell, the richest man on the planet and the father of the century, made sure that his rotten princess’s every desire was fulfilled. As Carl Jung once said, “No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven until its roots reach down to hell.”

_____...“Stupid, stupid, stupid,” Inaya banged her head on her desk repeatedly, thinking of the mess she was in. Penelope Martins snorted as she walked in, seeing her boss’s condition.“So how are the wedding preparations going? Do you even have a bridesmaid? Or is it going to Mr Thorne’s sister this time as well?” Inaya looked up to glare at her assistant. “Shut up, Poppy.” Penelope plopped down on the couch. “Chillax, Nay. You know he is just acting up because his ego got hurt a bit. Bro has counted down for the end of the two years to serve those divorce papers. I don’t think bro is gonna give all that up just to get on your nerves.” “Yeah, except I know men like him,” Inaya mumbled, sipping on her green juice. “They would endure just about anything to get the kind of money that he is eyeing. Besides, he went public with it. He will be the one at a loss if he calls off the wedding now. ” “Can’t your Dad do something?” She gave her assistant a flat look. “You think? He had

____...Inaya pressed her lips together, pretending to be emotional and keeping her tears in check, when, in actuality, the clinking of the crystals on her chandelier dress was cracking her up, and she was doing everything in her power not to double over laughing at the ridiculousness in the middle of the aisle. The cherry on top was the grimace that Alexander was fighting. Poor guy, but he chose this for himself. He had the chance to walk away. She was ready to give it to him on a golden crystal-embedded platter if he asked it of her. But no, the man had decided to stay out of sheer greed. And now, he would have to pay the price - she would make sure that he regretted this greed for as long as they continued to stay married.Parker McBell sniffled as he handed her over to her husband, making both of them fight eyerolls. They had been married two years, and he was acting as if he was giving his child away for the first time. If the great McBell was anywhere near a decent man, A

____...Alexander stared at his reflection in the fogged-up mirror, running his hand over the glass pane to get a clearer view. His neck and chest were peppered with love bites and nail marks. They had really gone ahead and consummated their marriage. The broken condom was making his heart race. Considering how bad things were already going, he made a mental note to personally make sure that Inaya took her emergency contraceptive to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. But would a child be so bad?The primal side of him was hooked. He was obsessed with his wife. “This is not good.”“What is not good?” Alexander jumped at the sudden intrusion, turning immediately to face his wife, glad in a silk robe. “Nothing!”“Done using the bathroom?” Inaya walked over to stand in front of the mirror, her skin a red and blue canvas of Alexander's strength and passion. He winced at the bruises on her wrists and thighs. He didn't need to see to know that her waist must have taken the worst of it.

____...“Are you excited?” Penelope was busy being a pain in the ass. It was the day before their trip. Their flight was the next night but obviously her assistant had made her past days hell trying to make every other meeting and bullshit cram into them so that her boss could go on her honeymoon.“I don't even think a honeymoon is even worth all this back breaking work.” Inaya plopped onto her office couch, massaging her temples. “I swear I am going to end up in an ER before the flight.”Penelope snorted, knowing very well how resilient her boss was. “Oh come on, you should have made this remark this morning then. All your meetings and schedules are over now. And you can enjoy your vacation and come back and I have made sure your homecoming week is not too hectic as well.” Penelope patted herself on her back. “Oh man, I am the best assistant on the planet, am I not? I definitely deserve a bonus.” Inaya rolled her eyes. Her Penny and her theatrics never got old.“Take my card an
