Mona POVI squeezed my eyes shut.It was just a nightmare. It had to be a nightmare.I repeated it like a prayer, over and over, until my breathing slowed. Until my hands stopped shaking. Until I could almost believe it myself.I swung my legs out of bed and walked to the mirror. My reflection stared back—pale, hollow-eyed, exhausted. But whole. Unmarked. Normal.Except for the scar.I pulled my shirt down and turned away.Just a nightmare.I dressed mechanically. Jeans. A loose sweater. My hair in a messy bun. I didn't bother with makeup—what was the point? My face was already a mask of exhaustion. My phone buzzed on the nightstand.Cici: We're outside. Hurry up.Sasha: Don't make us come in there.Mia: You better not be dead.Laila; come out I typed back with trembling fingers:Me: Don't wait for me. I'll find my way.I tossed the phone aside before they could argue.---The SchoolThe walk to school was a blur. Trees. Cars. People. None of it registered. My feet carried me on auto

Mona POV The steam wrapped around us like a living thing, hot water cascading over our bare skin. My body pressed flush against his, every inch of me burning with need. Alessandro’s massive frame pinned me to the tiled wall, his thick cock nestled between my ass cheeks, the head teasing my soaked entrance. His fingers dug into my hip, possessive and bruising. For one dizzying second, I felt the tip push forward—just enough to stretch me, just enough to promise everything I’d fantasized about. Then he froze. A deep, guttural growl tore from his chest, raw Alpha power vibrating through the shower. His golden eyes snapped open, glowing with furious control. “No.” The word was absolute. Command given by the Alpha of Ironfang Pack. He yanked his hips back, pulling away completely. Cold air hit the place where his heat had been. I whimpered, legs shaking, but he didn’t let me fall. One large hand gripped my shoulder and spun me around to face him. Water streamed down his chiseled c

**Mona POV** The cafeteria noise still buzzed around me like static when Nina and her squad strutted over like they owned the entire school. My neck still throbbed from Dargrel’s fingers, but I sat straighter, refusing to show weakness. Cici, Sasha, Mia, and Laila scoff beside me. Nina stopped at the edge of our table, flipping her perfect hair, lips curled in disgust. “Well, if it isn’t the freak show. First you dress like a whore, then you are trying to get Dargrel attention…. What are you on, slut?” Her girls laughed behind her. One of them sneered, “Stay away from the spotlight. Caesar belongs to Nina. You’re nothing but trailer trash trying to play Luna.” I felt my wolf stir, claws threatening to peek out again. The power from earlier hummed under my skin, begging to be used. But I clenched my fists under the table and smiled sweetly instead. “Jealousy doesn’t look good on you, Nina. Maybe focus on keeping your man instead of barking at me.” Nina’s face twisted. She slamme

Mona POVThe girls screamed the second Dargrel walked away. I lifted my head from the table, cheeks still burning.“You just said yes!” Cici squealed. “You just said fuck—he is hot, right? You’re crushing, aren’t you?!”I scoffed, rolling my eyes hard. “No!!! He’s arrogant and creepy. I only said yes because you all wouldn’t shut up about it. It’s just a pool party.”They kept teasing me anyway, poking my sides and whispering about bikinis and “every bad boys.” I laughed along, but my mind was somewhere else entirely—on strong hands, a deep commanding voice, and the taste that still lingered on my tongue from last night.****Dad was strict. Everyone in the Ironfang pack knew that. He hated my friendship with Cici and the girls—He calls them “bad influences” every chance he got. There was no way he’d let me go to a pool party thrown by human-adjacent wolves like Dargrel. So I lied.I found Mom in the kitchen and told her it was a group project for Moonshine College. She looked tir

Mona POVAlessandro’s fingers were still deep inside me, stretching and curling perfectly, when we both heard it — the faint sound of a car door closing outside. His body tensed instantly. Alpha instincts kicked in. He pulled his hand away so fast I whimpered at the sudden emptiness.“Upstairs. Now,” he growled under his breath.I didn’t hesitate. In a panic, I teleported straight to my room in a swirl of frantic energy, heart hammering. I barely had time to throw on an oversized t-shirt and shorts before I heard Mom’s voice downstairs.“Honey, I’m home!”I forced myself to breathe normally and walked down a minute later, legs still shaky. Alessandro was already in the living room, looking perfectly composed in a fresh shirt, flipping through some pack documents like nothing had happened. Only the slight tension in his jaw gave him away.Mom smiled tiredly at both of us. “How was your day?”“Fine,” I answered, voice a little too high. I sat on the couch and pressed my thighs together
