Zeth’s POVThe doors to the war room slammed open before the guards could even put a hand on them and the sound echoed down the stone hall like a challenge. I didn’t knock, I didn’t wait, and I sure as hell didn’t care who was inside. Twelve Noctaryn warlords sat around the long table with maps spread out in front of them and markers weighing down the edges. Xander was at the head of it. His crown was off, his sleeves were rolled up, and he looked like a man who hadn’t slept in days because he was too busy holding a pack together that was starting to fray at the edges. Every head turned to me. “Out,” Xander said. His voice was calm. “That’s an order.” The warlords hesitated, looking between me and their Alpha, and I just stood there in the doorway with my arms at my sides and let them decide. “Now,” Xander said again, and this time it cut.
