Lahat ng Kabanata ng Kidnapped by My Sister's Biker Mate : Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

AriaMy eyes met dark brown ceilings as they blinked open. I blinked repeatedly to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I have white ceilings, and my room certainly doesn't smell like leather and aged oak. I winced as I sat up on the bed. Unlike my soft mattress, this one was hard enough to make my back ache. Just a glance and I had an idea whose room I was in. I leaned into the black leather headboard, letting my eyes trail the room details. A wolf-skin rug lay on the dark wood floor by the bedside. My feet touched the rug, its soft furs tingled a bit. I found myself lost in the design of the room, just like the rest of the Clubhouse a wolf portrait hung on the wall, a table and chair by the corner, a sofa further ahead, two doors that possibly led to a restroom and probably a closet and a different see-through door that led straight to a balcony. The room was dimly lit even with the sun peering halfway through the dark curtains, just like everything I had seen him wear. The room o

AriaThe bushes rustled behind me but no one responded. My instinct urged me to run, to get away from here. I turned towards where I had felt the stare come from. Right from a young age, I had always had a sharper instinct than most and it rarely lied. Something was telling me that whatever was behind these bushes was something I'd need to find out sooner or later. I pressed on against my better judgment, moving towards where the bush had been shaking just now, my heart beat faster with each step I took closer to it, the shaking had stopped now. Everything was perfectly still, I reached out to part it when the sounds of angry feet followed by a nauseatingly heavy perfume clouded my senses. “If it isn't Prez’s little sister,” I recognized Laura's voice without needing to turn, the other two were probably her little minions.I rolled my eyes, ignore a mosquito, and it'd probably go away without needing to swat it, so that's what I'm going to do now. But like most mosquitoes, she c

AriaI sniffed, “I can't help it,” the warmth I felt from her just now, the way her tall body shaded mine from the sun, even subconsciously covering my face, just like Elena. Finally, I let go of her. “I think I've come to a conclusion on what to do about all this,”“What's that?” She gave me a curious look. “Theron doesn't deserve to be a father.” I smiled sadly, “not my father especially.” She gave me a look but didn't say anything, just pursing her lips and letting me continue, so I did.“Deep down, I've always known that something was wrong somewhere, but he never actively mistreated me, just occasional jabs and shouts, the rest Phoenix usually did, but come to think of it now, if they could alter my memory once, how many times do you think they've done it?” I couldn't help wondering. She mused for a while, “That's quite a worrisome observation. It means everything you know could be a doctored version of what your father wants you to know.” I nod, “I always believed that the

Aria I feel my entire body stiffen, goosebumps spread through my body, I feel eyes on me, a particular intense set of eyes. Adrian didn't seem to feel it, he was still rambling off excitedly, but my brain was in overdrive now, more like I wasn't thinking straight. Stiffly, I turn towards the direction of the eyes. There I see him, Cain on the floor above us, watching silently, his face blank, but his eyes seemed to hide a storm as they were fixed on the arm on my shoulder. I swallowed nothing, sliding smoothly over Adrian's hands. He didn't seem to notice, instead he made himself more comfortable sulking about getting an earful from Margaret. I tugged on his sleeves, “Read the room,” I whispered. “Huh?” he asked aloud. “Moron” I cursed, feeling like a kid that just got caught doing something bad. He follows my eyes and I hear him make a sharp intake on seeing Cain, who says nothing, still watching us. “Cain,” I called out, but he turned and walked away before I could fi

CainI practically ran back to where I had seen Aria standing with Adrian, but they were gone, and not just that, the passageway was unusually quiet. “Mika,” I called into the mind link. Now wasn't the time to panic, I had to think rationally, calmly, and not think of what Theron or that white-haired freak would do if they got their hands on her. “Yo, Prez, wassup,” she answered almost immediately. “Is Aria with you?” My heart pounded at the question. Somehow, I already knew the answer, but I didn't want to believe it. “No. She should be in her room.” “She's not.” My response was barely a whisper, “She was taken, find her.” I ordered, meanwhile Kale was going nuts inside me. Shutting him out, I closed my eyes to think. I couldn't feel her presence within the clubhouse at all, like her presence had ceased to exist immediately after her last call to me. I could feel my heart wrench at the thought of anything happening to her. “My mate has been taken.” I opened the general link, c
