MIA I gasped and jerked up when cold water splashed hard on my face.I coughed violently, gasping for breath and shivering from the cold water.“Wake up, thief!” A voice snapped, and my heart stopped.I was still alive, and I was still stuck in this gruesome nightmare. My head dropped in frustration, and I broke into a silent cry, my tears mixing with the water that rolled down my face and dampened the shirt I was wearing.“You're awake,” a dark voice muttered.Silence fell in the room again. It was so loud that the only thing I could hear was my ragged breath.“Leave. I want to speak with her alone,” the voice came again, darker than the first.Everyone began to leave the room, so silent that it felt like they were walking on eggshells. My eyes narrowed to the ground, and the black leather shoes caught my gaze.My chest tightened in fear, and I swallowed hard, gripping my cold, cuffed hands.“Look at me!” The man spat, his voice filled with authority.I slowly lifted my head, and m

MIA“Welcome to BloodMoon Pack, Luna!”Those words threw me off and caused me to cringe back.My heart hammered in my chest as I darted my eyes towards the men who surrounded her and found their piercing, mocking gazes on me.Silence mixed with confusion, hatred, and shock filled the air and pressed down on me.My hands were shaking beside me and my toes curled while my face flushed with embarrassment and fear.“Luna?! This?!” One of the men spat, glaring daggers at me.His mocking words pierced into my chest, and pain snapped through me.I lowered my head, saying nothing. The smile on the woman's face dropped, and she swung her head to face the man, her eyes wide with anger.“You have to watch your tongue if you don't want to lose it!” She spat at him.The disgust in his eyes melted into fear, and he drew back, muttering an apology to her.The woman turned to face me again, the smile returning to her face.“Come, the Alpha household is waiting for you,” she said as she stretched out

MIAI jerked up, my breath hanging in my throat and my belly tight in horror.I had a splitting headache, and my nightdress clung to my body with cold sweat dripping down my neck. I groaned and rubbed my aching neck, wincing in so much pain.My heart stopped when I shifted my eyes to the room and realized that this wasn't mine. The bed was too large and soft to be mine, and the expensive furniture of rare mahogany wood made my heart drop.I shifted my gaze to the China cups and teapot on a gold-plated glass table beside the bed, and my toes curled. The floor was made of spotless marble. It was so spotless that when I leaned over, I could see my reflection on it.Two famous portraits that were fought over in art galleries hung proudly on the cream walls, and on the dressing table at the far end of the bedroom were bottles of expensive perfumes, make-up boxes, and skin care products lined up.I gasped when I realized the room was the size of my living room and kitchen put together. As

MIAThe moment I pushed the door open, a gust of cold air hit me hard in the face.I twisted my face and let out a gasp, swinging my head to the side.“Close the door.” I stiffened for a moment when his voice hit the room.My hand became sweaty, and my heart raced in fear, but I dared not let it show.I slowly turned and pulled the doors shut before darting my gaze in the direction of his voice.I found him sitting on a chair close to a window, a glass of alcohol in his hand and his back turned to me.I gripped my hands, swallowing in fear and trembling slightly as I stared at his back.“Come here,” he muttered in a deep, frightening voice.I hesitated before padding my feet slowly towards him.The room was gravely silent. It was so silent that I could hear the soft thud of my stiletto against the floor. His room smelled of musk and death, just like him. There were no pictures on the charcoal grey wall, no familiar book or less-alcoholic drink on the polished dark marble shelf and bar

MIAThe moment the words left my lips, I pulled the blade out and stabbed him again, making sure every edge of the blade disappeared into his chest. He staggered back and vomited more blood before dropping to the ground.I staggered back, my hands trembling as I stared at his dusty blue eyes that were slowly turning dark.“I'm sorry I'm not keeping my part of the deal, but I'm not going to die,” I whispered as I took my steps back.He let out a scoff and coughed out more blood."Perhaps I underestimated you,” he muttered, and my belly churned.I twitched my lips into a smirk and shrugged.“I'm not so weak after all,” I muttered.I turned and walked briskly to his wardrobe and pulled it open. With a racing heart, I reached for his pants and shirt and then pulled them on.The shirt looked like it had swallowed me whole, and the pants wouldn't stay on my waist, and it looked so big that my legs disappeared in it.I cursed loudly and grabbed his belt, then tightened it around my waist, fo
