Nico:My Lamborghini makes a stop in The Vesper Institute of Fine Arts, one of the most prominent arts centers in the country. I come out of the car, and pull up my sunglasses staring at the building in front of me.This isn't my kind of stop, the thought of spending two hours drinking champagne and pretending to be interested in the pictures doesn't fascinate me. I'm tired as fuck, I haven't slept well in two days but there is only one reason why I'm here.Her.Camillia West. I may or may not have hacked into her personal computer, displaying her schedule for the day, so maybe that's how I know that she will be here. I hand over my coat and keys to the valet, and step into the arts center. My gaze sweeps across the exhibition, towering oil paintings, marble sculptures, abstract canvases splashed with enough color to make critics cry over "hidden meaning”. This is exactly the kind of place I despise. Light flashes in my face, people move around, with fake laughter and fake giggles.M

Evelyn:Life has taught me two bitter truths: one, you have to kill for what you want—literal bloody murder—and two, you don't get what you want in life by simply being ‘nice’I tried being nice once, and look where it got me? I grew up poor, money was hard on everyone but I have always dreamt of being in Hollywood, my mother would laugh anytime I was pretending to be famous in my bedroom, and would go. “Evelyn, don't be silly! There are simply some dreams that can't come true.”Maybe she was right, and maybe she was wrong, but my dream did come true. I made my first acting debut at the age of nineteen, and before long, words started to spread. I moved to Los Angeles, cut all my family off and started a new life. Being famous came with a price, I had to figure out how to stay on top of the ladder. It was hard, I won't lie, directors either wanted a date or a good lay, and I wasn't willing to give them any of that, they would shake their head and say, “good luck staying on everyone's f

Malakai:I growl at the screen from my hotel room, staring at the picture that Nico sent me earlier, how dare he? The caption reads: having breakfast with a brilliant as hell chef! That mother fucker even had the guts to slap on a filter. And Scarlett…she's smiling, she's smiling to someone that isn't me.Damn it, in all my years of doing this, I have never been as eager to get out of a business than I am right now. I want to leave this hotel room and go back home, and I have never felt this intense urge before.Thankfully, all the work I've been doing will be wrapped up tomorrow morning and then I can take the one hour flight back to New York. I drop the phone on my bed side table, feeling very familiar with the darkness that's starting to surround me. My phone lights up, and I ponder on whether or not I should pick it up.What I see makes me sit up straighter, it's Scarlett, tied to a rusted metal chair, wrists bound behind her back with thick rope. A bruise darkens underneath her

Malakai:She is so freaking stunning. That's the first thing my brain thinks of when she steps into the room. The dress hugs her body in just the right places, and that slit in the thigh area? It has my body betraying me in ways I thought could never happen. She is so gorgeous that it freezes my brain. There's no words in the English language or even Italian that can describe what she is doing to me just by merely existing. I am not a man caught by desire. Fuck, I have never been for once caught by desires, yet, I'm smitten. She starts to approach me, smiling. “Hey.”I grab a glass of wine from the nearby waiter and chug it down. I stare around, one of my hands snaking around her waist pulling her close, her breath hitches and I like that she's affected by my presence.I did not come here today to smile and show off Scarlett in my arms, it's the birthday party of one of the most influential mafia Kings, and Xavier, Nico and I are here to kill him. We just found out that he has been wo

Nico:There's this thing about addiction, you swear it's the last time. You convince yourself you are done with it. Then you catch the faintest sight of it, just the slightest taste and suddenly you're craving for it all over again. That's how it has always been between Camilla and I. Every morning, I tell myself I despise her and in the night, I tell myself how I am going to watch her break, watch that facade she gives everyone shatters. But this night when she called me, sounding shattered and vulnerable, all I could think about was shielding away from danger. I texted her my home address and she's going to arrive any minute. I have been pacing around the grand living.I pull out my phone and text Malakai immediately.Me: I have a visitor, keep away. His reply comes almost immediately.Malakai: No surprise there…which celebrity are you hanging around with today?Me: Piss off.I instruct all the men scattered around my men to recharge for the day. There's no way that she's going to w
