All Chapters of My Alpha Buried the Wrong Luna: Chapter 121 - Chapter 130

KAELThe first thing I noticed about House Valen was how little they looked like people preparing to seize power.Their estate stood on the eastern side of Blackridge, surrounded by old trees and low stone walls. There were no armed guards at the entrance beyond the usual protection expected of a wealthy family, and no banners calling attention to their recent political success.Yet their influence had grown quickly.Since the old succession law had been activated, House Valen had gained authority over two territories, secured a stronger position in the council, and become the leading voice in several succession disputes.I had come to find out why.Lord Adrian Valen received me in a private study. He was older than I expected, with silver beginning to show in his dark hair. His daughter, Mara, sat beside him, and both looked cautious when I entered."I assume this concerns the succession law," Adrian said."It does."He gestured toward the chair opposite him."Then you should know we

NOAHI left the House of Aurelis before sunrise.I didn't tell many people where I was going. Kael knew, and Elias knew enough to understand why I needed to make the journey alone. The name I had found in Adrian's records had been sitting in my mind all night, along with the words my father had written beside it.Protected. Still alive. The location led me beyond the main roads and into a quiet farming settlement nearly a day's journey from Blackridge. There were no council buildings there, no large estates, and no family banners hanging above the houses. It was the kind of place people passed without noticing.I found the address just before midday. An elderly woman answered the door. She looked at me carefully before opening it wider."You're Adrian's son."I stopped."How did you know?"She gave a small smile."Your father said you would come one day."My chest tightened."You knew him?""He came here several times."She stepped aside."My name is Mara."I followed her inside. The

KAELThe three-day deadline arrived with rain.By sunrise, council riders had gathered outside the House of Aurelis. They remained near the gate without entering, their horses restless beneath the gray sky while families watched from windows and doorways. No one needed to ask why they were there. The deadline had passed.Inside the main hall, Elara stood before the residents with the council order in her hands. Families had gathered around her, waiting for the decision that would determine whether their home remained protected."We are not registering people according to bloodline," she said.A murmur moved through the room."We will provide the council with the names and information required by current law, but we will not place survivors into categories that were created to decide who deserves power."One of the older men stepped forward."What happens if they remove our protection?"Elara looked at him."Then we find another way to protect each other."The answer wasn't loud, but i

THE ALPHA WHO CHOSE THE OLD WAYELARAThe Alpha arrived before midday with only two guards and an old silver banner hanging from his horse.I recognized the crest from the northern territories, though I had never met the man who carried it. He was known as Alpha Garrick of Stonevale, a respected leader whose pack had remained independent through several council changes. He asked to speak with me privately. When we entered the small meeting room, he removed his gloves and placed them on the table."I came because I owe you an explanation."I sat across from him."About House Arven?"He nodded."My pack has recognized their claim."I had expected that answer, but hearing it still unsettled me."Why?"Garrick leaned back."Because we remember what happened before the current council system."I waited."Our pack is small. We have never had the numbers of Blackridge or the larger northern territories. Under the modern system, that has made us vulnerable."He spoke without anger, which made

RONANThe withdrawal arrived before breakfast.I was in the eastern watchtower when a messenger brought the sealed notice from Pinecrest Pack. Their Alpha, Rowan Hale, had formally withdrawn from Kael's political alliance and would no longer recognize Blackridge as the leading voice in the current succession dispute.I read the letter twice. There was no accusation against Kael. No complaint about broken promises. No threat of violence. That bothered me more than an angry declaration would have.I folded the notice and headed toward the main house.Kael was already meeting with Cassian when I entered. Elara stood near the window, reading another report, while Noah sat at the end of the table with several young heirs who had recently begun corresponding with him.I placed Pinecrest's letter before Kael."They've withdrawn."His eyes moved across the page."When?""This morning.""Did Rowan give a reason?""Only that his pack believes its interests are better protected by recognizing th
