Harvey's Pov I slowly stood up from the ground, numbly patting the dust off of my clothes. It barely did anything, if anything, I smudged the dirt on other places that was previously clean. Upon getting up, I glanced at the huge building, and at the bold logo at the top of the building. My dream had been dashed so wickedly. Derek and Olivia had won once again. All the fire and bravery that I had came out with was snuffed out with just a single word. It actually felt like the universe was mocking me, like it was telling me that no matter how many second chances I had, no matter how much I tried, I would always be the kind of person that would be trampled on by others. I walked over to a corner and sat down, bringing my knees to my chest. My legs hurt like hell, I didn't even have the strength to walk. I was also disgraced, what else did I even have to lose? Tears stung at the corner of my eyes and I buried my face into my legs to hide my face. I didn't let myself cry but I just coul

Earl's Pov “A… A human tester?!” Harvey sputtered, her eyes wide as she stared at me in shock, “Even if you want me to become that, I physically can't! You and I are different genders as well as different bodies, I can't…!” I pushed her into the boutique and the moment we stepped inside, a few of the boutique's high-level employees instantly recognized me. Their eyes widened, and they immediately began moving toward me to offer a formal, bowing greeting. Before a single word could leave their mouths, I shot them a sharp look. My eyes narrowed, warning them to keep their mouths shut. Since I was currently playing the role of an expensive escort for my sweet, oblivious runaway date, I had to play it fully. The employees froze in their tracks, catching the silent threat in my gaze instantly. They swallowed hard, quickly adjusting their postures to pretend I was just another wealthy customer. "Welcome, sir!" the manager squeaked out, bowing her head quickly to recover. "Take h

Harvey's Pov “I'm here to pick you up for the interview.” A voice suddenly said behind me, making me jump slightly. I instantly turned around, and saw a man standing right behind me. He looked quite familiar, like I had seen his back before but I couldn't quite place it. “Who…?” “I'm Mr Earl's assistant. He asked me to pick you up for the interview. I also want to apologise for the mistake at the entrance. We've fired those two guards and punished them. I assure you that nothing like that will happen again.” “I… It's okay.” I muttered, staring at him with confusion. Why would the owner of Atelier ask his assistant to come and get me? But I wasn't complaining, after all, none of this was my fault. “Come with me, the interview room is ready. Most of the candidates have already left so it'll be a one on one interview with the board. Don't be nervous and just do your thing. After all, your past works were impressive and that's why we invited you here in the first place.” The assista

Harvey's Pov I lunged forward, throwing my entire body weight directly into Stefan's side. The sudden impact caught him completely off guard. He lost his balance, groaning as he was shoved hard off of Gigi, tumbling onto the floor beside the coffee table. Gigi immediately collapsed onto her side, coughing violently, her chest heaving as she sucked in massive, ragged gasps of air. "Gigi!" I gasped, getting up from the floor and scrambling over to her, pulling her small, trembling body behind me to shield her with my own frame. Stefan growled, pushing himself up off the floor. He rubbed his side, his dark, bloodshot eyes glaring at me with absolute murderous fury. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Stefan roared, taking a threatening step toward us, his fists tightly clenched. "Mind your own damn business, Harvey, before I break your neck too!" My hands were shaking uncontrollably, and every instinct in my body was screaming at me to run. But looking at Gigi shivering hel

Harvey's Pov. “Are you trying to say that Derek is… infertile?” She whispered the last part of the sentence like someone was listening in on us. I took a deep breath, looking at Gigi’s shocked face. “I’m not entirely sure yet, Gigi. But think about it. Olivia claims she’s carrying Derek’s baby. But if Derek could actually get a woman pregnant so easily, why would she be carrying someone else’s child?” “How are you so sure that Olivia is pregnant with another man's child? How do you know about it?” I made up an excuse immediately, “I overheard a conversation between her and someone on the phone that made me suspect it. But to be honest, I'm not exactly sure if Derek is actually infertile. After all, the doctor I went to see also told me that I was infertile.” Gigi looked alarmed. “Huh? You're infertile? How's that possible? You're of good health, just a few illnesses here or there. It was never anything serious! Besides, you've seen so many doctors regarding your coughs,
