Scott's POVThe competition was going on smoothly. We were the third on the table. Coach couldn't stop doting on me. I was practically famous in the league. The best quarterback so far this season. But I was worried. More fame meant exposure and diggings into my personal life. Layla was also a pain in the ass. She kept stalking me everywhere I went. I was on my way back to my dorm when one of the guys called me. “ Yo Scott!” “ Robert! What up dude?” I turned back to meet his gaze. “ Coach wants to see you.”he said and walked away. My heart beat faster. Coach only sent for me when there was urgent information or the guys weren't playing up to par. The thought of what he wanted to talk about spinned inside my head as I walked towards his quarters. I still don't understand why all athletes need to leave inside a single building. But still, it was nice as long as I get to see Sienna everyday. The hallway to the coach’s office felt longer than usual. My footsteps echoed softly, ea

Scott’s POVMy heart was pounding so hard it hurt my chest, but I did not stop moving. Fear had no place in my body right now. Anger pushed me forward, sharp and hot. I looked at Felix once more and he nodded, his jaw tight.“Stay close,” he whispered.I nodded back. We moved quietly, stepping around the back of the building. It was one of those abandoned sports halls no one used anymore. The paint was peeling and the windows were cracked. The air felt heavy, like something bad had already happened there. As we got closer, I could hear voices. Low voices. Men. They were not joking or laughing. They sounded tense. That alone told me this was not normal.I pressed my back against the wall and slowly peeked around the corner. My heart dropped.Sienna was there. Her hands were tied behind her back. Her mouth was covered with tape. Her eyes were wide, filled with fear. Troy was standing close to her, his face cold and unreadable.Around them were four other men. Big men. The kind that lo

Scott’s POVI had to clear my head. Exercise helps a lot. I needed to let go of some emotions and I also needed to think. I need to know why Sienna was being hunted. If the packs in Orleans know about her then I don't think anywhere is safe for her. Still, I haven't called Alpha Donovan. Calling my father was going to complicate things. I needed to be sure why they wanted her. I need to know what all of this was all about. This was the only way I could protect her. Loving Sienna can come with a price. It was easy loving an Alpha wolf. Moreover, I have never heard of a female Alpha. It was strange but then, I can't deny the unexplainable powers that she had. I took a quick glance at her and got off the bed after kissing her on the cheek. I looked up and I saw Sheila standing by the doorpost. “ Jeez! You fucking scare me.” I said holding my chest. Sheila looked at me and smirked.” How do you plan to defend her if you are not ready for any surprises?” “ Not that type of attack. Yo

Scott’s POVI left the academy the very next morning.I barely slept that night. My body was on the bed, but my mind was somewhere else. Sienna’s message was still on my phone. She had checked on me, asked if I was okay, told me to rest. Just reading her words made my chest tight. But rest was not what I needed. I needed to be better.Stronger.Worthy of her.If I was going to stand beside Sienna in this storm, then I could not be weak. I could not depend only on my wolf or on luck. I had to build myself into something solid. Something dangerous. Something to be feared. I left before the sun fully rose. The academy was still quiet. Most of the athletes were asleep or just waking up. I pulled my hoodie over my head and walked out with my bag slung over my shoulder.HR Gym.That was where I was going.I had searched all night, scrolling through places, reading short reviews. HR Gym stood out. It was close to the football academy and it trained fighters, not just athletes. People who w

Scott’s POVThe game changed the moment the second red card was shown. You could feel it ripple through the pitch, through the stands, through the air itself. The opposing team howled in outrage, their bench exploding with protests, but it didn’t matter anymore. They had crossed too many lines in front of too many eyes. Now everyone could see what they really were.Hunters exposed. With two Alphas sent off, their formation wobbled. Not weak—never weak—but unbalanced. Wolves like them thrived on dominance, on overwhelming pressure. Take away numbers, take away control, and all that raw aggression turned sloppy.Coach Miller’s voice cut through the chaos.“Push the tempo! Now!”And we did.The restart came fast. I took position deeper than usual, shoulder screaming every time I rolled it back, but I refused to let it show. Pain was a dull roar in my body now—constant, heavy, like I was carrying something broken inside me. My ribs burned with every breath. My ankle throbbed. My throat
