Lahat ng Kabanata ng No More Baths for Me: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 9

Mommy was so angry that she kicked the washing machine. "Are you really going to defy me now?"That wasn't my intention, Mommy. The water was going to fill the entire washing machine soon. By then, I wouldn't be able to hold on.I began wishing the water would rise faster. Just a little faster, and Mommy would realize something was wrong and let me out. After hearing a beep, I forced myself to brace my arms and legs against the inside of the washing machine. I just had to hold on a little longer. Once Mommy opened the door, I would be safe.As the washing machine started spinning again, Daddy walked over, holding Jason in his arms."Darling, we can deal with Caleb later. We need to get to the hospital now."I didn't want them to leave…I watched Mommy turn and walk away with my own eyes. The front door slammed shut behind her. The next moment, the washing machine started spinning violently again. My world started spinning, and I was tossed around inside, like a discarded rag.

"Oh, it's nothing. I need to check on Jason."Over the next few days, Mommy and Daddy made no effort to look for me again. Daddy went back to his normal work routine. Suddenly, Jason started spitting up his milk and refusing to eat. Grown terribly worried, Mommy rushed him to several hospitals, but nothing seemed to help. It wasn't until she heard that Ms. Cahill knew a remarkably skilled doctor that she finally caught a glimmer of hope. She quickly gave Ms. Cahill a call, her tone dripping with obvious flattery. "Hey, Taylor. Your son hasn't played with Caleb in a while. I'll bring Caleb over in a few days so they can play together."Those words sent a chill down my spine. I used to play with Kingsley, Ms. Cahill's son, and he always bullied me. Kingsley used to hit me on the head with a chair and make me throw stones at kittens. I was so scared that I had nightmares for an entire month.Mommy and Daddy had always forbidden Kingsley from seeing me. She said Kingsley was a v

Grandma Natasha grabbed Daddy by the collar. She was crying so hard that she was hunched over. I really wanted to tell them not to cry. It had been really suffocating inside the washing machine. I had been tossed around, slammed against the inner walls, over and over again. It hurt so much. At least, I didn't have to suffer anymore. Daddy stared blankly at my body, as if his soul had been ripped away from him. He crouched down and lifted me in his arms, carefully smoothing every strand of my hair into place. "Caleb, I messed up. I made you suffer so much. I'll find you a place where you can rest in peace.Grandpa Justin and Grandma Natasha wanted to stop Daddy from carrying me out like that, but no one could stop him at all. He carried me into the elevator. As soon as the doors opened, the children inside were so frightened that they burst into tears. Very quickly, word spread throughout the neighborhood that I had died in the washing machine after Mommy and Daddy trapped

One day, a few police officers suddenly knocked on our door. "Are you Caleb Tucker's parents? We received a report that you intentionally abused and killed a little boy. You're coming with us."Mommy and Daddy were about to be taken to the police station, and they were even being put in handcuffs! Handcuffs were only for bad people, but Mommy and Daddy weren't bad people! No matter how much I didn't want it to happen, I still heard the handcuffs snap shut with a click.Mommy and Daddy were far calmer than I had imagined. The neighbors couldn't help but criticize them, and one of them was Mrs. Jebb from the unit upstairs. "Caleb was such a sensible child, and he was adorable too. Everyone in the neighborhood adored him. How did he end up with parents like them?""That's right. They deliberately murdered their child. They deserve to die for this!""They deserve serious punishment for what they did! If they weren't going to take good care of their children, they shouldn't have
