Aurus was skilled, and there was no denying that his opponents were as well. Their fighting style was unlike anything she had seen before, and it was obvious they were seasoned warriors. His height was not far from Aurus’s, but there was a dark aura surrounding him. She could not explain why, but this feeling seemed familiar to her. It was as if she had felt this kind of presence from someone before, yet she could not remember who.“Brian!” she shouted again when the figure mercilessly pulled the sword out from the child’s back.She did not waste any time. She picked up a long piece of wood as thick as her arm from the ground and charged toward the man. She swung the wood at him, but he immediately blocked it. The force behind his sword strike was heavy and powerful, causing the wood in her hand to slowly break apart. When only a short piece remained, she threw it at the figure.
