ARIA'S POVThe bed frame had been there for two weeks and I still woke up surprised by it.Not because of the frame itself, just because of its sturdiness. The way it didn't move beneath me like the air mattress did. I'd gotten used to sleeping slightly deflated and slightly tilted while the plastic tilted every time I moved, but now I had a real bed and I was still waking up at 3 AM with the radiator blasting through the wall and thinking I was somewhere I didn't recognize.Three weeks had passed, and apparently, this is what progress looked like.On Saturday morning, I got dressed and sat in the kitchen drinking coffee from the corner shop two blocks down. I'd learned in the first week that the place closest to my building made coffee that tasted like hot water with aspirations, and that Morrison's was better. The art supplies had been sitting in a bag in the corner since I moved in. I'd organized them twice without opening anything. Assembling the small easel Jordan had helped me c

POV DE ARIAYa eran treinta y tres días.

Esa

Flynn's POVMy phone rang at 4:06 AM."It's happening, Flynn!" Sienna's voice was tense, controlled, as if she'd been breathing through the pain for a while before deciding to call. "I've been timing them for two hours. They're six minutes apart now."He was already seated. "Did you call the hospital?""They said I had to go.""I'll be there in fifteen minutes. Don't lift anything. Just sit back and breathe."I drove through dark, empty streets without a second thought, since that could wait. Portland at 4 AM is just traffic lights changing for no one, so I made every single one turn green.I finally arrived and found her at the door of her building with a bag that looked poorly packed, her hair loose, one hand resting against the doorframe. She didn't say anything when I arrived. She just carefully climbed inside; I could see she was trying to manage the wave of pain.We arrived in Providence in twelve minutes and after that, it was out of my hands. They took her to the back and left
