Violetta Jude's face scrunched up the moment he heard that name, but he quickly covered it up. A smile spread across his face. "Yeah, why?" he asked. He had put in considerable effort into masking his emotions, I could barely tell that he actually didn't want to talk about that. "He wants to meet up with you," I finished, and this time he finally couldn't hold it in anymore. His grip around the wood tightened as he stared blankly at me but soon enough, he snapped. "He actually dared to meet with you," "The audacity!" he said, turning his face the other way. I stared at him, waiting for him to come around. I wasn't sure if he would but something in the way his grip loosened told me that he would. Soon enough, he turned back to meet my eyes. The burning emotion that had once been in his eyes now gone.
