Amelia stood outside Damian’s mansion, staring at the enormous black gates. For three years, she had entered this place as his wife. Tonight, she wasn’t sure what she was anymore. Her fingers tightened around the strange phone in her hand. Ask Damian about your mother. The words had been haunting her since she read them. Her mother had been dead for seventeen years.
