Lyanna's POV"Lyanna, stop!"The voice echoed from behind me, cutting through the chaos like a command. Who dares to stop me? I thought angrily as I turned around, ready to tear apart whoever had dared interfere. But the moment my eyes landed on the person standing several feet away, I froze.Azrael.My Azrael. The very man that wolfless disappointment thought she could steal from me. The boy I had loved ever since we were children. The future Alpha of the Stygian Hunt Pack. For a moment, I couldn't move. I simply stared at him, my anger slowly being replaced by something I couldn't quite explain. Ever since we were children, everyone had known that Azrael was mine. Or at least, that was what I had always believed. We trained together, laughed together, and grew up beneath the same moon. Whenever the elders spoke about the future of the pack, they always mentioned his name with pride, and I would silently imagine myself standing beside him as his Luna.I never questioned it. Why would

My father, the Alpha, faced me with a stern expression on his face. His eyes were fixed on me, and from the way he looked at me, I already knew he was angry. I stood before him quietly, waiting for him to speak, even though I already had an idea of what he wanted to say.“Azrael, explain why it is that you choose to defy the rules and regulations of our pack. As you already know, it is a sin to separate any duel or fight in our pack. They have to show themselves who the master is. It is either they surrender or they fight until death. So why did you stop a fight that had nothing to do with you? You clearly know the rules. It is either one surrenders or they fight to the death.”I took a slow breath before answering him. I knew better than to argue with my father when he was speaking as the Alpha, but I also couldn’t pretend that what had happened to Selena was acceptable.“Alpha, Selena is a wolfless girl. She has no wolf backing her, and she doesn’t stand a chance against Lyanna. Lya

“Let’s get out of this damn pack, Kiera,” Ragnar said.“After I give my dad a befitting burial, then we get out.”After losing my dad, I was so depressed that I couldn’t bring myself to run or go anywhere. Everything around me reminded me of him. The house felt different without his presence, and even the familiar sounds of the pack no longer brought me comfort.I had lost the only person I thought would always be there for me.Ragnar was the one who gave me hope when I felt like I had none left.“Everything is going to be fine, Kiera,” he would say while patting my back whenever he found me crying.Sometimes, I didn’t believe him, but I still held on to his words because they were the only thing keeping me together. We had planned to sneak out of the pack tonight, before attention was drawn to me and Lycaon noticed what we were doing. I knew leaving would not be easy, especially because Lycaon had guards everywhere, but staying was even more dangerous.Earlier in the day, I had packe

GRAVEFANG PACKZeus POV“Who dares poison my food among you fools?”I shouted, demanding an answer from the maids standing before me.I knew I had countless enemies who wanted me dead, but none of them were a match for me. They knew exactly who I was and what I was capable of, yet someone had still been foolish enough to think they could sneak poison into my food.Sending a few maids to do their dirty work was nothing more than a complete waste of their time.As soon as the maids dropped the food in front of me, I reached for the silver spoon lying beside my plate. I slowly dipped it into the food, watching carefully as the silver came into contact with the meal.Within seconds, the spoon began to rust.A cold smile spread across my face.“Who is playing this childish game with me?” I asked, my voice low and dangerous. The maids immediately began shaking in fear.Of course, they should shake. That was exactly what I wanted.Fear.I wanted everyone who stood before me to feel it. I wan

Selena POVAfter crying my eyes out in the woods, I finally returned home.Yes, I returned home. I didn't have anywhere else to go. I had no friends, no secret hideout, and no one in this entire pack I could run to whenever things became too much for me. As much as I hated coming back, this was still the only place I could call home.I wiped my face as I walked through the familiar path leading back to the house. My eyes were still swollen from crying, and my chest felt heavy. I had spent so much time in the woods trying to calm myself down, but nothing had changed. The pain was still there, sitting heavily inside me.And now, I had to be careful around Azrael too.I wouldn't want to become more of a burden than I already was. That thought hurt more than I wanted to admit.Azrael had always been the one person I could depend on. He was the person who made me feel like I wasn't completely alone in this pack. But after everything that had happened, I couldn't help wondering if I had fin
