Charlie's POVThree years ago, I hid the pills away. Now, I dug them out and swallowed them at once. Third-Person POVThe cake slipped from Astrid's hand and hit the floor with a soft thud.Before she could ask anything, the woman on the other end hurriedly hung up, leaving only an address in a text message.Hearing the noise, Ethan and Naomi rushed over.
