Seraphina I was humiliated. A side mistress. A discarded, unranked bed-warmer and breeder offered crumbs in front of the entire elite world.“No!” I said. It was meant to be a scream, but it came out as a broken whisper. I took a shaky step forward with my head shaking violently. “No, Rowan... you promised me...I’m your girlfriend”My stepmother’s cold voice cut through the air before Rowan could answer. “Silence, girl!” the woman barked “You think you have a right to complain? You are a charity case! The elders have tolerated your presence long enough, but let the truth be known tonight—you carry none of our blood! You are not family. You are nothing!”Laughter broke out among my step-siblings in the front row. The pack elders nodded in cold agreement.“Get her out of my sight” my stepmother mother sneered. “She has one hour to clear her things.”As they dragged me backward toward the doors, former friends and peers stepped aside, turning their backs on me one by one.“Reje

AsheronThis peasant kept crossing paths with me. It was already annoying because I had a woman I was already devoted to; Pearl, since after she saved me from an accident years ago. But ever since Seraphina stumbled across my borders, bringing her chaotic, addicting scent into my territory, my focused mind was unravelling. The only reason I kept her close was to use her as a link to Rowan’s weaknessI stood at the high arched window of my study, staring down at where I had scent-marked her hours ago. The pulse in my palm throbbed with the memory of her skin. Why on earth did she have that weird effect on me?She was nothing more than a discarded Omega, a weakling who had mistaken me for Rowan and shoved her lips onto mine in a stupid feverish blur. I should have tossed her to the rogues at the border. Yet, I had signed a contract binding her to my absolute authority, wrapped her in my own jacket, and branded her skin with my scent.A clearing of a throat broke the silence behi

SeraphinaRowan took a slow, disbelieving step forward “A...a baby? You’re... carrying my pup?”“Don’t look at her like that” Asheron’s voice was a low, terrifying rumble that vibrated through the tension. Pearl had shattered my timeline. I was supposed to have until tonight—supposed to find a way out, or make my peace with the dark deal I had made in Asheron’s study. But now, with Rowan staring at me like I was a prize to be reclaimed, I knew I had seconds before my life was completely decided for me.Knowing his temper, Rowan would fight to the death to drag me back I had to end this. I had to sever the link to Rowan so completely that he would never, ever look at me again.“Lira!” I screamed into the crowd of estate servants huddled near the archwayA young Beta girl, the pack’s doctor who had been assigned to me by Asheron, flinched and stepped forward, trembling under the collective gazes of two Alpha presence.“Y-yes, Miss Seraphina?” Lira stammered while clutching her

Asheron Something about Seraphina made my inner wolf circle restlessly behind my ribs. It was driving me nutsout of my mind.Ever since I branded Seraphina with my scent in the courtyard to keep my guards from tearing her apart, her skin had retained it even though she wasn’t wearing my jacket anymore. My residual mark hadn’t faded like it was supposed to on an unranked, rejected Omega. Instead, it had settled quite deep into her pores.Every time she walked down the hall or she stepped out of my sight, a surge of rage would rip through my chest. Leaving a territorial emptiness that made me feel incomplete. It was absurd. She was a weakling. A runaway who had stumbled onto my lands, tried to force a reaction out of me with a fever-addled kiss, and brought royal pack politics to my doorstep.I had kept her quiet, yet I was the one trapped by her presence. However, I quickly brushed off the thought of her because I had more important things to do. The Sinclair Academy was a f

Seraphina “I’m still the very Omega that you hate so much” I replied as I pulled myself away from him “You’re just still delusional from the Blood Moon.”He blinked, the last traces of his feral haze dissolved into confused exhaustion. Before he could press further, I rushed back into the shadows of the estate with my palms soaked in cold sweat.By the next morning, the rumors had already spread like wild fire.Pearl had been busy twisting the narrative. She couldn’t explain how an unranked Omega had tamed a Blood Moon Alpha without looking weak, so she spun a new narrative: I was a curse. She whispered around that my presence had triggered Asheron’s violent shift in the first place, that my supposed tainted blood brought bad luck, decay, and chaos to the Sinclair territory..Everyone now saw me as a jinx and an unwelcome wolf. But I didn't care about their whispers. I had a clock ticking in my belly, a hidden pup to protect, and a life to build. I wasn't going to spend my remaining
