All Chapters of The Thief who stole the billionaire's heart: Chapter 1 - Chapter 10

"Prisoner 359, you've been cleared and can now return to the community as the good citizen that you ought to be”. The voice of the prison warden, followed by the clashing sound of metals, sent waves of joy into my body. It was still 4 AM in the morning, an hour before correctional service begins. What was he up to? I stared into his eyes, waiting for him to declare it was a joke. He kept his gaze stern, shutting my ideal of him. "I have no idea what you're planning to do to me, but it better be good," I replied, rising from my bunk. "Meet me at the clearance office, mind you, don't try anything funny on your way out. This is the only chance you have to get out of here, Silent Mira." He disappeared into the darkness, leaving me to imagine what awaits me. "Don't play games with me if you want to live," I slammed my fist into the bars, ignoring the pain that came afterwards. "It's your choice, Mirabel; it's either you follow me or live in that filthy cell till you're dead.".

"Raymond". His name still instilled fear in me. He was the one who sent me to the high correctional facility after I had almost escaped with the Neon Diamond he kept in his safe. I remember how hard he had sent me flying off this very corridor with his legs, the rain draining every ounce of strength I had left. He stood up from the sofa, approaching me without his clothes on. The sight of his broad chest staring directly at me made my breath seize. I had thought about having my revenge on him after this mission was over, but it turns out it wouldn't be possible. "It's nice to see you back here. Usually you'd claim you're busy with work and run off with your manager from the airport. So that's what that was all about. That bitch really rubbing thighs with her so-called manager. Pretty disgusting. "Just decided to be with you tonight," I responded, trying to avoid the sight of his attractive chest. As I lowered my gaze from his chest, my eyes met with his trousers, the way t

You know that feeling you get when you're thinking of committing suicide... Yeah, that's the way I'm feeling right now. My phone kept beeping severally, notifications popping up with the headline "Love Recruit: Superstar Annabel caught by Billionaire Raymond as she is about to fall off stage." The urge to twiddle my hair grew intense as I read the article. Bloggers all over began to create blogs about the scene, but my eyes widened when I came across this blog. The blogger stated that Raymond was quite the gentleman, and I wanted to make him bad before the public. Trolls were rolling about in the comment section, stating I had nothing to offer. Trolls—how I wish I could crush one of them as a warning to the others. In an attempt to throw my phone on the bed, it rang, putting a stop to my intention. "Hello." "It's nice to see you again on screen, Mirabel, or shall I say silent Mira?" My eyes darted to my phone, staring at the caller detail. "UNKNOWN NUMBER." "Who are y

I would be lying if I said I slept a wink throughout the night. I couldn't get the file and photograph out of my head. Why does Raymond still have the file? Is he still keeping tabs on me? Or by any chance knows about my arrangements with Annabel. My heartbeat increased as different thought kept coming to my head. “No! I don't think he knows about my arrangements with Annabel, that would also put her in trouble” I sighed out loud and clutched the pillow tighter to my chest. “I really signed up for a sucide mission”. Morning came and just as I was about to finally get some sleep,a butler came to announce breakfast. “Good morning ma'am, breakfast is ready”. “Huh” I groaned still trying to find my voice “I will skip, thank you” “Sir Raymond asked me to call you down personally and I don't think he will take that fir an answer” I could swear I heard that in a mocking tone. “Damnit” I sighed out loud and sat up. It seems I almost forgot what I signed up for “I will be down in few

I watch as his expression immediately he picked the call. He stepped outside quickly, leaving me all by myself. I went back to sitting with the girls and pretended to be busy in my phone trying as much as I can to avoid conversation with anyone. Beep…Beep…. It was a text from Raymond saying he left the party already and I should find my way home because he won't be back anytime soon. “What a jerk!!!” I said feeling a rush of anger piling in me. “He brought me here and now wants me to find my way home myself” I stood up angrily, went outside. “Jerry, come pick me up Asap, I will text you the address”. I didn't even bother to hear his response before I ended the call. As I stood in the night cold the anger I was feeling was unexplainable. Was I angry because he left me on the dance floor or because he left me stranded. It felt so unexplainable. Jerry arrived 30 minutes later. “Good evening madam” I wasn't in the mood for greetings so I didn't bother to respond. “Are were goin
