Semua Bab After I Died, My Sister Destroyed Our Mafia Family: Bab 1 - Bab 10

The most feared Moretti had never been my father, Don Salvatore Moretti. It was my twin sister, Alessandra. She had been dead for four years.Ten years ago, the rival De Santo family seized Pier Seven at the San Marro docks. Forty armed men surrounded the warehouse. My father was ready to surrender. Alessandra was 22. She took 12 men inside. First, she blew up their arsenal. Then she carried their hostage, an old bookkeeper, out of a burning warehouse. Finally, she forced the Five Families' representatives into a smoke-filled office and settled the matter herself. When she walked out, Pier Seven was ours again. She didn't celebrate. At my suggestion, she reinforced the fire doors along the docks and raised the death benefits for dockworkers' families.Outsiders remembered a cold, terrifying woman stalking the docks with a gun. That wasn't the Alessandra I knew. I remembered her coming home late, slipping off her bloodstained coat, closing the loose shutter by my window, and kissing my

Mara crawled into the west wing through the laundry chute. Nails had torn her uniform and left her elbows bleeding. She rushed to my bedside and checked my breathing. Tears filled her eyes."An ambulance can't get in. Enzo sealed off the west wing, and Luca jammed all emergency communications.""Don't cry." Every word sent fresh pain through the wound under my ribs. "Do three things for me."First, upload my injury report, the time the phone line was cut, and the recording of my father's orders to the medical terminal.Second, encode the GPS backup number using the rose stones.Third, after I died, enter Alessandra's emergency code on the transfer order. "Send me to Saint Brigid. Don't let my father take my body."Mara shook her head. "You're not going to die. The doctor is in the east wing. I'll drag him here myself.""They'll stop you. Nobody in this house cares if we live or die.""Then I'll scream until every guest hears me."She stood, but footsteps sounded outside. I pressed the

The muzzle flashed, lighting Gianna's face and the Moretti plaque behind her. Alessandra's revenge had begun. The bullet tore through Gianna's gun hand and pinned it to the brass plaque. Blood streamed over the Moretti name. Before her scream ended, Alessandra fired again, destroying the power switch behind my father."Seal the estate."Trust security dropped the heavy fire doors."Detain everyone with access to the west wing, medical records, or servers. Escort the guests out through the east door. Record every name. No one leaves with an electronic device."Luca's men opened fire. Alessandra hit the fire-control switch, and massive doors split the hall into three sections. Luca and six of his men were trapped in the west section. My father and the elders were sealed in the center while security evacuated the guests through the east door.Alessandra had designed the system ten years ago to protect the dockworkers. Now she was using it to tear the family apart. She opened the family ac

The North Tunnel had three lanes but only one exit at each end. Instead of charging in, Alessandra took over the freight system and sent twelve container trucks to block the south entrance. Then she killed the main lights, leaving only the dim red emergency lamps. She had designed the dispatch system herself ten years ago. Luca thought he'd trapped one ambulance. He didn't realize the entire port was now her cage.We entered from the north. The ambulance sat across the middle lane. Luca had Mara outside, a gun pressed under her jaw.Mara saw my face on Alessandra and began to struggle."Liliana?""That's not Liliana." Luca grabbed her hair. "Look carefully. That's the saint of a sister who gave up ten years of her life for me."Alessandra stopped about sixty feet away, her gun at her side."Let Mara go.""Move the trucks first.""You have nowhere to run."Luca laughed. "Have you forgotten what happened ten years ago? You confessed in front of the Five Families. Nobody forced you. You t

Less than two hours remained before the eighteen-hour deadline. The Council had suspended my father's power, but he was still the Black Harbor Trust's second signatory. On his way into custody, he used his emergency authority to freeze the port's wages, pensions, and medical funds. Thousands of workers were now Alessandra's responsibility. The same message played across the city: Unless Alessandra returned to Saint Brigid Island, every dockworker would lose their income. An angry crowd gathered outside the shipyard. Some remembered that Alessandra had restored their death benefits. Others had children who needed medicine. But they didn't know my father had frozen the money. All they knew was that Alessandra could end it by going back.In the temporary meeting room, my father laid an old family photo on the table. Eleven-year-old Alessandra carried an injured Luca on her back while I clung to her coat."Your sister could never stand to see anyone suffer." My father looked at her. "Go ba
