"Then why did you spare her life?""She's nothing special." Alpha Thorne simply said as he walked with Madonna by him side. "That rogue girl has no scent, and I believe you -""She has no scent? No wonder.." he whispered the last part almost to himself.Luna Madonna stared at him as they walked before finally saying something."I hope you are not forgetting Isolde, your bride to be."Alpha Throne paused, his stomach churned uncomfortable as he forced a smile."I am not." he bade her farewell with fake politeness and walked into his chamber..Meanwhile,lyra walked towards the servant quarters. Her smile so wide that it was noticeable. She wondered why the Alpha was asking for her name."How can someone as powerful as him notice someone like me?" She thought loud in her mind.As she made to turn, she froze, seeing a carriage rushing into the palace. It stopped, and an elder rushed towards the Alpha’s chamber. Alpha Thorne rushed towards the injured man."Your majesty, they tried to kill me

"Who dare hurt her!"Alpha Thorne’s deep voice made everyone froze.Lyra lowered her eyes as she wondered why the Alpha was making a big fuse out of this. This was not the first time she was getting this hurt,it was even a normal thing back at Cornerstone. Alpha Thorne’s eyes meet hers, and he sighed. He felt as if he was the cause of this,if he had let everyone know she was his. Maybe they would not dare hurt her,"It was a mistake,Alpha. The warriors were practicing,""And. Why was she there?" He asked coldly as he held her hand. Soft. Warm. And small,it fitted his hands perfectly as he spoke. She froze at the feeling, his hands on hers."From today hence forth, she would only work in my chamber! And the main palace!""Yes, Alpha," Beta Drake responded, bowing slightly before motioning to the doctor to follow him and leave the two alone.Alpha Thorne breathed in relief as he made to caress her sCheeks, but she jerked up."I am sorry,Alpha, please do not kill me," she stuttered as she

He sighed as he walked towards them, pausing as his eyes met Lyra."Uncle, please," Mica begged in his childish voice, coming over to hold his hands.Lyra felt an unexplainable ache in her heart as she awaits her fate, she held her abdomen slightly, the pain they had significantly increased and she closed her eyes briefly to calm her nerves but before she could realise, she had fallen down unconscious. But she did not fall down flat,Alpha Thorne held her by the waist, his eyes widening as she turned limp in his arms."Lyra!" He barked as he shook her, looking up,Eleanor stood beside him,her face morphed into concern. "Come to my chamber with the doctor, now!" He barked out, completely forgetting that he was mindlinking.Few moments later, lyra was on the Alpha’s big size bed,she had completely dozed off, when the doctor arrived. He froze seeing lyra on the bed and the alpha holding her hands softly, his wolf howling inside,fe

He lifted her chin slowly before leaning forward. He breathed deeply, trying to control himself, but he could not,not with the desire he could see in her eyes."You keep telling me to step back, but your pulse says otherwise."She gulped as his hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her firmly against him.She gasped as their clothed body came in contact, she had felt something. Not desire. Something primal. Without thinking, she took the first step, pecking him on the lips.He froze,he did not expect her to do that."I am so sorry,I don't know what -"He shunned her with his lips over hers. Immediately, their lips clashed, and lyra moaned softly as he bite her lip to gain access. He kissed her so softly that she could feel her stomach churning, excitement oozing off himShe kissed him back with the same intensity, his hands were all over her, and she liked it. For some reason, lyra wanted him to continue and not stop. She had totally forgotten what had happened as she wrapped her arms aro

"Oh,that bitch. She-"Akila began to speak,a hint of condescension in her voice , but the next moment, she was up. The alpha had held her neck with a strange kind of hold. He looked mad,his gaze settled on Akila as he struggled to hold back his wolf. His eyes, which were golden brown, had turned pure red."How dare you speak about her like that!" The intensity of his voice made everyone stunned, fear settled in Akila's chest as she struggled to breathe. She pleaded with her eyes as she had difficulty in opening her mouth. He let go of her, and Akila slumped to the ground. She gasped, apologizing. "I am sorry,Alpha. I am sorry, " She pleaded as she knelt down. His gaze swept across the others."Where is she?"Some shook their head. He clenched his fist as Jaya stepped forward."Your majesty, she said she wanted to get something from her room," Jaya spoke, her eyes lowered as the Alpha turned to her."I want her to be my guide,""Alpha,I saw her go past the pack dungeon-" before another m
