It is officially the longest day of my life. Everywhere I turn I get flashes of Sophia. It’s like a slow torture with the heat making my day just that little bit more gruelling. “Jax there’s a phone call for you,” she smiles, her head popping out of the office door. I make my way up and stop dead in the doorway. The once messed up office is spotless. All the piles of paperwork are gone. I can actually see my desk. “Wow, you’ve been busy,” I mutter, making my way around to my chair and sitting at the desk. She gives a satisfied smile.
