A hot tear slipped from the corner of Simon's closed eye.Some time passed.When he opened his eyes again, he looked around with the blank wonder of someone seeing the world for the first time.Yara and Lyndon placed him in his birth parents' care and accompanied them to the airport.At the gate, Simon suddenly stopped. He stared at Yara for a moment before he asked, "What's your name? I feel like I've seen you before."Yara smiled but didn't answer. She gave him a small wave, as though saying goodbye to a stranger she met only briefly.Simon looked back again and again as his parents helped him board.
