Ian stared at Summer's hand clutching his sleeve, momentarily stunned.“Ian, let me go. Moira's accusations cut Summer to the heart.Ian no longer belonged to her alone.That realization hurt far more than being forced to kneel before Moira.“Give me back my baby! Ian hadn't appeared again for two whole days.On the day of her discharge, Summer went to the ultrasound department for a checkup before Farren arrived to pick her up.The ultrasound technician pointed to a tiny dot on the screen and smiled.“This is your first baby, right? Look. It's still very small, but that's your baby right there. Everything looks healthy.
