Chapter one: Taken by the enemy.

Elena's POV"Grab her, she's coming with us."one of the men in black suits yelled."No! Don't touch me!" I screamed at the top of my voice, moving back. The one called James grabbed my hand and dragged me up from the ground like I weighed nothing more than an A4 paper. His grip was like iron."Let go of me! Let go!"I’d left a quiet home this morning. My dad was laying on the couch, his face buried in his hands, obviously thinking of how to repay the huge debt he owed the Blackwood. I definitely knew. He looked so tired, so broken. I remember telling him, "It will be okay, Dad."I expected to see him when I got back from school, maybe with a plan. But now I come home to a completely ruined place. The mansion I once called home has been brought down to ashes by fire. The walls are black, the windows are gone, everything is burnt. I feel so confused, my whole body is shaking. How did this happen? Who could do this?As I wandered in tears around the scene, wondering where to go, wonderin

Chapter 2: His return.

Elena's POVAfter two years of being taken away, enduring tortures and eating leftovers, today is my eighteenth birthday. But this birthday is different. Because today, after two years, he is coming back.I walk out from the cage room where I've stayed for two years now."Ohhhh," I yawned and went out into the hallway, trying to stretch the pain from my back."Good morning everyone," I greeted the maids, but the atmosphere feels strange. Everyone is working so carefully, too carefully. The whole mansion is silent."Good morning Elena," one of them whispered."Good Morning dear," another said quickly without looking at me."How was your night?" someone else asked. They greeted me back. "Thank you, thank you and my night was fine," I said to them, but they went back to their work immediately. But more carefully than usual. They were polishing the same glass again and again. Chapter 4: It's hurts so much.

Elena's POVI woke up to silence. The kind of silence that felt heavier than noise. My room was almost completely dark. The curtains were drawn, blocking out whatever little light the morning, or perhaps afternoon, had to offer. For a few seconds, I simply stared at the ceiling, trying to remember where I was. Then I tried to move."Aah!"A sharp pain shot through my body, forcing a gasp from my lips. I froze. My entire body felt sore and weak, as though I had spent the entire night carrying something far too heavy. Even sitting up felt like an impossible task.Slowly, painfully, I pushed myself upright. And then I remembered. My breath caught. Tears immediately burned behind my eyes. I wrapped my arms around myself, pulling my knees toward my chest as the memories came rushing back. What happened this morning wasn't something I wanted to remember, but my mind refused to let me forget.A tear slipped down my cheek. Then another. I pressed my face against my knees and cried silently."
