The plane touched down.On her way to the restaurant, Olivia's excitement mounted with every passing second.Yet the moment she reached the restaurant door, a wave of fear suddenly gripped her.It had been three months.Joshua must have seen all her public apologies and promises by now. Surely his anger had eased at least a little? She hadn't had a single lead on him before. This photo and exact location were her very first break. He must have given her this chance because he was ready to forgive her, right? It had to be.They had been in love for so many years, and he had always been the softest-hearted person. He could never bear to truly abandon her.Refusing to dwell on how cold and resolute Joshua had been before, Olivia convinced herself over and over again.Only then did she step inside the restaurant, holding the box of chicken pot pie—which she had carried across oceans—like a priceless treasure, and show the photo to the owner.Joshua had used a meal voucher provid

The line remained dead silent.Olivia's tone sank into an even deeper, fragile humility. "I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have lied to you. Damien and I are completely over, and I lost the baby."Honey, please give me one last chance. I really can't live without you. As long as you're willing to turn back, I'll pay whatever price it takes."Still, no response came from the other side."Honey, please don't—"Olivia's voice trembled uncontrollably. Before she could even finish her sentence, the call was abruptly cut off.Panicked, she redialed frantically, only to find herself blocked. An endless despair enveloped her, making it hard to breathe.Just then, Patricia's call came through."Mom, can you… please help me find him? I miss him so much, but he won't take my calls anymore…"Patricia's throat felt tightly constricted.Olivia was such a proud woman. If she hadn't been pushed to absolute rock bottom, she would never beg like this."Why don't we just let it go? Please, st

"I won't marry you. Because… you disgust me," Joshua said.Olivia snapped awake in horror, rushing frantically into the bathroom to scrub her skin over and over again. She nearly scraped a layer of skin off.Her eyes were completely bloodshot as she muttered incoherently, "Honey, I washed myself clean. I'm not dirty anymore. I swear I'm clean."I even threw up all the food I ate. Please don't be disgusted by me. I'll go tell them right now. No one else will ever come here again."It took a full half-hour before Olivia finally stepped out.Taking in her pitiful state, Patricia made a move to step inside, but Olivia immediately blocked her path. "Don't come in. Joshua doesn't like you. I have to guard his things here for him. I can't upset him again."Despair filled Patricia. She sat down right at the doorstep since she wasn't allowed inside."If I can't stop you, then I'll just stay here and keep you company. Seeing you like this breaks my heart. Olivia, watching you do this to

Those casual words made Olivia's eyes flush crimson in an instant."We were together for so many years. Can't you just forgive me this once?" she asked."Sure. I forgive you."Never expecting Joshua to say that, Olivia froze in place, but a sudden brilliance burst in her eyes."As long as you can accept me seeing other women from now on. While I'm with you, I'll be texting her and liking her posts on social media."I'll slip out while you're asleep to spend the entire night with her. I might even have a child with her and expect you to help me raise it."With every single word Joshua uttered, the color drained further from Olivia's face.Just listening to him talk made her feel like she was having a complete breakdown."Can you accept that?"Olivia shook her head instinctively. "Joshua, I can't…""So tell me, what right do you have to ask for my forgiveness? If you want my love, you have to trade the exact same loyalty for it. Otherwise, you're not worthy."Joshua watched he
