MARRYING A RUTHLESS BEAST

I stared down at the ring on my finger and took a deep breath. My lips are sore from biting them continuously. This is it. I have to do this. Getting married in a rich family was my only option.

Call me a gold digger if you like, but you wouldn’t understand even if I tried to explain. Marrying a man with money is my only way out. It’s my family’s only way out.

When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of this perfect wedding, with the man of my dreams. I never thought I would end up like this. Marrying a man for his money. Something that I’m against, it’s what I’m doing now.

No one wants to get married to a beast. But what could I do? As I said, I have no choice.

I looked over at my husband. He took another sip of wine and clenched his fist into a tight ball. He barely looked at me. When we kissed at the church it was just simple, and quick.

This is the worst, yet best decision I ever made. I kept staring at his brown hair, light brown eyes, and slightly pink lips. He was about 6ft 3in and slightly muscular.

I look over at my mother and her boyfriend. They kept on staring. A small smirk spread across their faces. They got what they always wanted. One of her children to marry into a wealthy family so they never have to work again.

My brother, on the other hand, is pissed with me for taking such drastic track in, to marry into a family, with a man that I don’t love. Just for my mother. I guess he’s the only one that actually cares. But what can I Do?

Everyone else seems to be enjoying themselves. Many wealthy people are here. I guess my family is the only low-ranking people in society there. From top models to businessmen, even the freaking prime minister! I can hear their whispers. How can he marry this gold digger? Ewww … look at her. All this jewelry can’t hide her poor damsel figure.

He leans over and cup my face and kisses me. I could feel the tension when our lips touch. I just want all this to be over, but I didn’t want it to be over, because when it’s over … that means I’ll have to submit myself to this stranger, and that … that’s scary.

Although we aren’t going on a honeymoon, I know his intention is to get between my legs. Typical men. I’ve never felt this much pain, until now. Everything I dreamt of is now damaged. I’ll never become a fashion designer. Now I’m a housewife. I should have run away!

Two hours later

I followed Lance to a master bedroom. Rose petals covered the floor and bed. I swallowed hard, knowing what I should do next. I walk towards him and started to undress.

He gave me a surprised look and stepped back.

“What are you doing woman?!”

“I … I’m submitting myself to you” I clear my throat and walk towards him again. “As … as your wife.” He let out an evil laugh, then within the split of a second, he became serious and stepped towards me. He grabbed my cheeks and stared down at me.

“You are nothing but a low-ranking gold digger, oh, and a whore. Putting myself with you is like putting myself with a dog, and I don’t do dogs.” He chuckles and releases his grip on me. “I’m sick of women like you. All you do is go around and try to find every man that has money so you can sleep with them. I curse today! My room, this room … you will never set foot in here again. Ever! Each night I will carry a different woman here, and there’s nothing you can do about that.” He lifted his index finger and presses at my forehead.

“I dare you to bring a man to my house, woman. I dare you! When I am here, if you see me on the left take the right. I want you nowhere near me. When friends come to visit, you go to your room and mind your business, like the child you are. You made a mistake when you decided to get married to me, because I am a dragon, and I’ll breathe fire down your neck! I am a lion, I will tear you apart. I plan on ruining your life … Ken” He shoves me out of the way and open his door.

“It’s Kendall” I mutter.

“Cindyh! Cindy!” He barks. She must be one of his women. In less than a minute a woman who seemed to be in her late forties entered. She was dressed in a maid uniform and her hair was done in a neat ponytail.

“Hello, Mrs. Ru-“

Lance immediately cut her off.

“Don’t call her that!” He said sternly. “Take this woman to the guest room”

“But sir sh-“

“Unless you want to be fired. Do as I say! It’s not hard to find another maid!” She quickly nodded and signal for me to follow her.

I follow her down the hallway to another enormous room, but it was a little smaller than his.

“Just let me know if you need anything, Mrs. Russo”

“Just call me Kendall” I replied. She gave me a nod, then left. I closed the door and sank to the floor. My life has always been a mess. Marrying and spending my life with someone who loves me is off the table. I am stuck with this beast.

Once the first tear broke free, the rest followed, and they poured … like rain. My life. My dreams. Everything is ruined! Because of that …. I sniffed and wiped the thought from my head.

Lance

I felt bad for the way I spoke to Cindy. She has been working for me for seven years, and she is amazing at her job, but right now … I am pissed!

I grab 10 bottles of wine from the kitchen and head to my room. I am going to drink this woman away.

Marriage was never an option for me. I hate the very thought of being committed to a relationship. Spending life with someone forever is stupid, and I do not plan on doing that.

I do not have any feelings for this woman, and I never will. Other than showing the public we are a happy couple, I want nothing to do with her, especially sexually. She’s not my type, and she will never be!

I should have never agreed to get married to her, but my mother threatened me. Like she always does, then she explains how much she loves me and it is for the best and how much I need to stop being a man whore.

She prefers that I get married to a gold digger! I slammed my door shut and dived in bed. I switched on the TV. My wedding was already making headlines and they are already questioning how long this marriage will last.

If I had declined to get married to her. My mother would ruin me. She loves me, but she cares about what people think more. All she talks about is how much her friends think I’m too wild and it’s embarrassing how every week I’m seen with another woman.

It’s my life!

If that … thing … didn’t happen years ago she wouldn’t have anything on me! It’s not like I can deny it, because she has proof.

I grabbed my phone from the pocket of my pants in order to call one of my whores but decided against it.

I’m sure the paparazzi are swarming outside of my house right now. I’m tormented and frustrated.
