Getting a digital audiobook legitimately can sometimes feel like detective work.
I looked into this because 'A Touch of Chaos' is only available as a Kindle eBook currently. It hasn't gotten an official audiobook release yet, at least not that I can find. Those download queries often pop up for upcoming books or ones with similar titles—maybe people are mixing it up with 'A Touch of Darkness' from the same author, which does have an audio version. My usual method is to check the author's site and major platforms like Audible or Libro.fm first; if it's not there, it probably doesn't exist in that format.
It’s a bit frustrating when a book you want isn't in audio, especially for a series that’s popular. I keep hoping they’ll announce a production for it soon, but for now, offline listening isn’t an option. I’ve got the ebook wishlisted instead.
You'd need to either wait for a potential future release or see if a library has other formats. That’s the most straightforward path I see.

No official audiobook exists for offline download currently. I checked Audible, Google Play, Apple Books, and the publisher's site. All show the ebook only. Sometimes fan-made audio pops up on random sites, but the quality is dubious and it doesn't support the author. Best to wait for an official release or enjoy the text version for now.

Wait, are we talking about Scarlett St. Clair's 'A Touch of Chaos'? I’m almost positive there’s no audiobook for that specific title. I tried finding it on Audible a few months back and came up empty. The 'Touch of' series is a bit inconsistent with audio releases—'A Touch of Darkness' and 'A Touch of Ruin' are there, but the later ones seem to lag.
If you really need an audio version, your only bet might be using a text-to-speech function on an e-reader app with the purchased Kindle file, but that’s a poor substitute for a narrated performance. It sounds robotic and misses all the emotion. Honestly, I’d just read the ebook.

This question tripped me up for a second because I’ve seen so many requests for it in fan groups. The confusion might stem from the fact that Madelline, the narrator for the earlier books, is fantastic, so people automatically assume the sequel is out in audio. It isn’t. I follow the author on socials and haven’t seen any announcement about an audiobook production for 'Chaos'.
My advice is to subscribe to the author’s newsletter or turn on notifications for the book on Audible. That way, if it ever does drop, you’ll know immediately. In the meantime, I’ve been re-listening to 'A Touch of Darkness' to get my fix. The offline download process for those is simple through the Audible app once you own them—just hit the download button next to the title in your library.

Went down this rabbit hole last week. Looked like a bunch of places had it listed for pre-order, but finding an actual stream or download after release was a pain. I eventually found it on Kobo's audiobook service. Their subscription includes it, but you can also just buy it outright if you don't want the commitment.
Someone in a forum mentioned it popped up on Libro.fm for their monthly credit, which is a good alternative if you want to support an indie bookstore through the purchase. Audible has it too, of course, but I'm trying to use them less these days unless it's an exclusive.
It's definitely a completed series as far as the audiobook goes. I just finished listening to the whole thing on Audible last month, which was a relief because I hate waiting for new episodes to drop. The narrator really brings a different energy to the text, especially for the more, well, chaotic characters. It felt like a very different experience from reading it on my own.
Sometimes I'll still check the ebook for a specific scene I remember, and the audio version holds up. Knowing it's all there and I can binge it again whenever is the best part of a finished audiobook for me.
Check out Libro.fm. They're my go-to now. Same price as Audible usually, but my local bookstore gets a cut. You can choose your bookstore from their list. They have all the Wheel of Time books. The app is simple and gets the job done. It feels better than feeding the Amazon machine, especially for something as personal as a book you love. They offer membership plans similar to Audible credits, too.
