It’s been two years since Kenzo was forcibly claimed by an elvish prince. Since then, a clear divide has been created among the elf factions - those who believe that only mates should be allowed to claim a dragon and those who believe that anyone should be allowed to claim them. Dragons are no longer safe, being hunted and ambushed by elvish troupes who want them. These elves do not care about mate bonds, nor do they care that the hybrid dragons are still children in their human form. They only care about the power that being a dragon rider brings them.
