Family sagas that span generations. There's a unique grandeur in following a family's triumphs and tragedies across decades or even centuries. You see how traits, secrets, and conflicts are inherited and transformed over time.
The scope allows for a rich exploration of how historical events impact ordinary lives and how personal choices ripple through generations. Characters you grow to love age, make mistakes, and pass on their legacies. It's a profoundly human genre that tackles themes of memory, inheritance, and the bonds that both define and constrain us.
It requires commitment, but the emotional payoff is immense.

Alright, I'll be the dissenting voice on grimdark. I think the genre's obsession with 'realism' through cynicism and brutality has become its own boring cliché. Every character is an anti-hero, every institution is corrupt, and every victory is pyrrhic.
It often mistakes misery for depth. I'm not saying every story needs to be happy, but when everything is shades of black, there's no contrast, no light to make the darkness meaningful. The constant subversion of hope becomes predictable. I'd argue that writing a genuinely good, kind character who remains compelling in a flawed world is a far harder and more interesting task.
I'm ready for the pendulum to swing back toward nuance, not nihilism.

Welcome to the filthy heart of sin, baby.
All the Ways We Sin is a raw and unapologetic erotica collection where passion doesn’t just burn : It fucks you senseless
From the thrill of your dangerous stepbrother pinning you against the wall while your parents sleep down the hall… to the shame of sneaking into your mother’s fiancé’s bed.
These stories don’t play nice. They’re supernatural, sci-fi, taboo, LGBTQ+, romantic, dark, obsessive, and so dangerously addictive you’ll be touching yourself before you finish the first page.
Every chapter is a brand-new sin. A fresh and wet craving. A whole new world where your desire ...always...fucking wins.
Some stories will lick you slow and sweet until you’re trembling. Some will drag you into the dark, choke you with lust, and leave you bruised and dripping.
Some are wild, strange, and so twisted they’ll make you cum harder than you ever have in your life.
But every single one answers the same dripping question:
If nobody was watching…
how fucking dirty would you sin
Warning: This collection contains explicit content, graphic language, and mature themes that may not be suitable for all readers. Some stories explore consensual BDSM, power play, taboo scenarios, and emotionally intense relationships. Reader discretion is strongly advised. All characters are fictional, consenting adults.

Get ready to dive headfirst into temptation so forbidden it sets your skin on fire. Meet men who take what they want with raw, possessive hunger and women who crave every bit of it, unafraid to scream their desire.
In this collection, every stolen touch, every secret glance, every whispered command pulls you deeper into a world where rules are shattered and pleasure rules. Expect domination, surrender, and the kind of heat that leaves you breathless and begging for more.
If you crave erotic tension that lingers long after the last page, characters who are as flawed as they are irresistible, and forbidden encounters that push every limit—this collection will take you deeper into desire than you ever imagined.
Get ready to lose yourself. Because once you enter, there’s no going back.
You’ve been good long enough… it’s time to be filthy.

Poetry and novels-in-verse are their own immersive experience. Don't think of it as homework. Books like 'The Poet X' by Elizabeth Acevedo or 'Long Way Down' by Jason Reynolds use verse to tell powerful, contemporary stories with a rhythm and punch that prose can't replicate. The white space on the page, the line breaks, all become part of the storytelling. It can make a heavy topic more accessible or an emotional moment more intense. Even if you don't typically read poetry, a narrative-driven novel in verse can be a stunning, quick, and impactful genre detour.
As someone who has spent years immersed in books, I've found that the best genres depend on what you're looking to experience. For sheer escapism, fantasy and science fiction are unbeatable—think 'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss or 'Dune' by Frank Herbert. These worlds are so rich and immersive that you can lose yourself for hours.
If you're after emotional depth, literary fiction and contemporary romance like 'Normal People' by Sally Rooney or 'The Song of Achilles' by Madeline Miller offer profound insights into human relationships. For thrill-seekers, crime and mystery novels like 'Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn or 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' by Stieg Larsson keep you on the edge of your seat. And let’s not forget historical fiction—books like 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak or 'Pachinko' by Min Jin Lee blend education with storytelling. Each genre has its own magic, so it’s worth exploring a few to see what resonates with you.
