Must Read Books- Different Genres Novels & Stories

“Learning about psychology is really tough and demanding. You should learn directly from specialists rather than reading books that provide limited knowledge without being able to explain it in depth.” Poppy furrowed her eyes when she noticed the stack of books on the table. Her cheeks flushed as she read each title. “So why are you bringing romance novels... and mature genres like this? I don't want to read them.” Donna nodded and sighed, as if she knew Poppy's feelings. “Madam...” she spoke calmly, “I chose novels with components of human psychology to make learning easier.” Poppy's eyes narrowed in suspicion. “Is there such a thing?”

As I perused the books, I could feel Aidan’s gaze on me. The shop, much like the one downstairs, boasted an impressive selection. These were books to be enjoyed in the coffee lounge, not purchased or taken home. A smile tugged at my lips as I reached the romance novel section. So, Well Thumbed had these too. I wondered if they had hidden gems, perhaps something I hadn’t read or that Uncle Alex’s book club, Bound To Please, hadn’t discovered yet.

I nodded, smiling. "But I don't think, reading teenage romance novels, should be a matter of concern for anyone. I mean, does my age bar me from reading a particular genre of books? Because if that's the case then shouldn't books like 'Harry Potter' and 'Percy Jackson' written and read only by teenagers?" I asked her, tilting my head.

Books didn’t need to be chased around like kids were. A young man interviews me this time. He has curly hair, rolled up sleeves and an expression that screams exhausted employee. “So Rhoda.” He says while glancing at my application. “Why do you want to work at the library?” Because I desperately need money and my life is falling apart. “I enjoy books.” I answer instead. He nods approvingly. “Good start.” Okay it was starting on a good note. “What genres do you usually read?” My brain immediately betrays me again. “Psychological studies mostly.”

I couldn’t help but smile. He squinted his eyes at me. “Ah, you know something that I don’t.” “Know what?” My smile widened. “At least, you share my frustration. It’s a good book, right?” “Yes. One of the great books I’ve read.” “I don’t even know if you read.” He smiled sadly. “One thing only a few people know about me, but yeah, I read.” “What’s your genre?” “Thriller, mystery, nonfiction. But Midnight is a mix of—"

Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different. I want to know what other books you are reading/recommend, specifically on GoodNovel (I'll ask about other apps next challege). I'm currently reading Hatred with Benefits (updated daily) and love it. Had their books labelled in order of genres and each genre had about 4 big shelf's arranged based on sub genres. It was Emma's favourite store. She loved being there and it made her feel inspired about her book being on one of the shelves one day. "This place is bigger than I thought," Eric said, scanning around with his eyes. "People read books a lot." "I guess so. So, how do you know why you're looking for?" "There is a catalogue. Every new book and genre is added into it. So, you just have to check through the computer to find what you're looking for," Emma explained.

I think for a moment, “I don’t think I have one. There is a small café that Kendra and I frequent because it is conveniently located near her workplace. I don’t eat out much.” “You read a lot. What is your favorite book?” Max asked. I shrug, “It depends on my mood. We didn’t have television growing up, so I read a lot. I don’t think I have a favorite book. But my favorite genre is historical romance.” “Oh, you like things about knights and kings?” Max inquires. I feel slightly embarrassed, “No, some of my favorites are about someone who goes back in time, and they have to adjust. Most go with a poor farm boy.”

What better way to eliminate boredom than by reading a book? I had recently downloaded a reading app, where you can read your favourite stories of different genres. Right now I am reading a novel called Loving Hayden. It is about two teens who were once archenemies but later became friends with their enemies. Okay, maybe not friends with benefits, more like enemies with benefits. I was eager to see where their relationship was going to lead. I continue to flip through my phone as I read the story. I was so engrossed with the story that I didn't realize how much time had passed. I was disturbed by the sound of a knock at the door.

It is Divergent, insurgent, and Allegiant first edition series, the notebook, The fault in our stars, and Shakespeare books. "I didn't know what kind of books you like, so I just picked the ones I think you might love"a voice startled me, and I placed my hand over my chest. "You scared me, " "Sorry," there is a dark grey wardrobe just behind the door. And a matt on the floor, a white round table at the corner. "It's fine really, I think I will read them. It's been a while since I have read an addictive book, maybe I will find one in these books. Who knows"I shrug, and sit on the bed.
